Rating: Summary: This movie made me want to throw things at the screen!!! Review: I absolutely hated this film, it's on my worst 5 of all time. I can't exactly say what made it such a frustrating experience but I walked out of the theater thinking that I would rather be run over by a semi than be forced to sit through another screening of this film. I love Williams, Cuba was amazing in Boys in the Hood, and the visuals were spectacular, but the film was so bad that even the great FX didn't allow me to give it more than 1 star. Probably the hardest movie to sit through of 1998, (and Armageddon came out the same year!)
Rating: Summary: Very Creative but lacked something Review: I saw this movie and I really didnt think it was funny, touching, and to me it really didnt make much sense. I love Robin Williams but felt this film just didnt cut it. I cannot explain why but I couldnt sit through it again if I tried!
Rating: Summary: STUNNING,ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Review: I just recently saw this on Pay-Per-View,and I must say,it touched me.It's the best film I've seen.Robin Willaims was fantastic.I don't think any other film will get to me the way this one did.
Rating: Summary: I don't get it Review: I'm sorry but this movie is awful!! I read some of the other reviews and wondered if I had watched the same movie. I love Williams and admire Cuba Gooding, but they were both in a loser.
Rating: Summary: A little far fetched, but a great movie none the less Review: I guess I would have to disagree with what I thought Heaven and Hell would probably be like. But I think it's just an opinion any way. It took a great imagination to come up with a story like this. It was a great movie, great effects, and a great cast. I can't wait to get to see it on DVD!
Rating: Summary: Visually Breathtaking and Stunningly Emotional Review: This is a movie that will make you think of what Heaven and Hell are really all about. The plot is great and I can't see anyone else but Robin Williams playing the part of Christy because he exemplifies emotion in this movie. The portrayal of Heaven in this movie is a slice of what we all hope it to be, and it makes you think of all the loved ones you've lost over the years, and brings hope of seeing them again. Overall, one of the BEST movies I've ever seen.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful story of the spirit Review: Whoever wrote the story must be a highly evolved person as revealed in this moving and beautifully told movie. Heaven and Hell are truly within our own consciousness. Love, honesty and openness are the gateways to Heaven. Whenever we turn our backs on that, we are in Hell.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Amazing Review: There are many adjectives with which to describe this film but one word in particular comes to mind...AMAZING. It is a must see for anyone who is lucky enough to have found his/her soulmate and true love. This beautiful movie will bring out emotions in you that you may not have even known existed. I can't say enough about this film and no words can ever do it justice anyway. This movie is beyond words and it will have an impact on your mind, heart, and soul beyond your wildest dreams. May it be as beautiful, breathtaking, and personal for you as it was and always will be for me and my true love. May it always be "your" movie...like it is and always will be "ours".
Rating: Summary: Best Movie of 1998 Review: This movie was panned by many critics, however, the public knew what they liked and "What Dreams May Come" made me come see it in the theater a second time. The special effects are astounding and Robin Williams performance is moving. It takes love from the inside.
Rating: Summary: VISUALLY STUNNING Review: I watched this movie specifically for the special effects which were so stunning I could not stop saying 'Wow' through the whole thing. The story is absolutely garbage, and that is too bad because it could have been one for the records with a great story attached to all that eye splendor. Cuba Gooding outshone all the others in the acting category, but his role was confusing until it was revealed who he was. This movie is best seen with beautiful music on your stereo playing, the sound on your TV off, and the remote control in your hand. Speed through to the beautiful scenes in heaven and feast your eyes.
