Rating: Summary: Tale of First Love Review: I've had this movie for a couple of years now and I can still watch it over and over again. The soundtrack is incredible (i've been searching for it and still no luck). It's a delightful story of two teenagers in love. I'm in my twenties and still struggle with my sexuality and society in which I am surrounded by. This little tale is a great coming out movie for teenagers that have to with the cruelty of their peers in high school. I've never had the nerve....It's also a great first date movie. I highly recommend.
Rating: Summary: Already sweetened Movie! Review: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE! It's sweetened with the juice of forbidden fruit! Young, lesbian and interracial couple, so cute! I don't care if anyone is not famous as long as they make the movie that sweet!
Rating: Summary: Ah, to be young again. Review: This movie is just too cute. Young love, regardless of who is involved, can give one the warm fuzzies. "Two Girls in Love" does that. It also has some very funny moments. I personally liked the way some scenes were shot (e.g. Evie, Randy, and Randy's family cooking dinner). Granted, this film is not Oscar quality - but who cares! Get it and enjoy it, over and over again.
Rating: Summary: absolute favourite Review: besides the fact that i didn't like the ending much, i loved this movie....i've got it on vcd and i've watched it over 5 or 6 times....and will continue on and on......and on..........
Rating: Summary: A film to have a crush on Review: "Two Girls in Love" totally shifted my way of thinking when I was smack dab in the middle of my coming-out process. I must say that the girls, for the most part, had a much easier time with their 'first love' than seems realistic, but what the hell? It's a nice story. It's a sweet movie, it'll make you want to go make a pot of cocoa and snuggle up with your girlfriend. There just aren't enough compassionate, un-tormented lesbian films out there--- but this is ONE, and it's a good start. You'll like it! Tootles!
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Fantastic! Review: I loved this movie! as a young lesbian, this movie really touched me. I totally empathize with both of the characters. The story is sweet, funny, and realistic. The actors are great(and they're both really cute!), the story is engaging, and the writing is wonderful. An absolute must-see for EVERYONE, gay/str8/whatever. Go see it now!
Rating: Summary: The "John Hughes" of Lesbian Movies Review: I thought this film was so touching and down to earth. I loved it! It took me awhile, but I finally got my girlfriend to site down and watch it with me.I'd love to see a "10 Years Later" sequel... jsut for fun.
Rating: Summary: A must see for straight or gay women Review: this movie expresses the true meaning of first real love, the clashing of classes, and culture. all and all I loved the way it delt with lesbian love in a real matter and the way evie delt with her coming to terms with her sexual identity is done in very intelligent way.
Rating: Summary: Simply beautiful. An honest, lovely, touching film. Review: I first saw this film back in '95, with my husband, when I was still struggling with my own coming-out issues. We both loved it. Four years later I bought in on video and was recently able to share it with my lover, my friend, my miracle. She is 32 and I'm 31, but the girls' feelings are true and familiar no matter what age you are. I smile just to think about the film. Thank you, Laurel Holloman. You've made a difficult journey much less lonely.
Rating: Summary: A Paean to lesbain love. Absolutely wonderful. Review: This movie conveys its story with moving perfection. More than a testament to first loves, this is about the kind of love we want at any age. I never get tired of watching it. BUY IT NOW!!!
