Summary: A GREAT MOVIE!!! SEE IT
Review: I HAVE TO SAY THAT BEFORE WATCHING THIS MOVIE I WAS ALREADY A FAN OF OMAR EPPS. HE IS SUCH A HANDSOME YOUNG MAN AND A GREAT SCREEN PRESENCE AS WELL.THIS ONLY ADDED TO MY OPINION OF HIM. SANAA LATHAN IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AND A RISING YOUNG GOOD ACTRESS. SHE REALLY CONNECTED WITH OMAR TO MAKE THE ON-SCREEN CHEMISTRY BELIEVABLE. I MUST SAY THAT UP UNTIL SEEING THIS MOVIE "JASON'S LYRIC" WAS MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME, BUT LOVE & BASKETBALL QUICKLY DROVE THE TOP SPOT INTO A TIE. I LOVE THIS MOVIE B/C IT SHOWS THAT TRUE LOVE(HAS TO BE REAL)CAN PREVAIL IN THE END AND WHEN YOU LOVE SOMEONE YOU SHOULDN'T TAKE THEM FOR GRANTED. IT DIDN'T HURT THAT I AM A HUGE FAN OF BASKETBALL. I LOVED THE WAY THEY TIED IT IN WITH THEIR LIVES..IT'S ONLY APPROPRIATE SEEING AS HOW IT WAS SUCH A BIG PART OF THEM. IN A SENSE IT PORTRAYED THEM BEING IN A LOVE TRIANGLE WITH BASKETBALL BEING THE "OTHER" PERSON. I THOUGHT THAT WAS REALLY COOL...I RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO IS A COLLECTOR TO ADD THIS ONE IN A HURRY.. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. YOU WILL DEFINITELY WANT TO WATCH IT TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

Summary: One of my favorite movies
Review: I saw this movie about couple of weeks ago on TV, and I loved it. One thing about this movie was interesting was that it was shown in quarters, like a basketrball game. It starts in the 1980's when Monica and Quincy are 11. They are next-door-nieghbors who both share a passion for basketball. They then become best friends in High School and a couple when they both get into the same collage. This movie showed the difference between womens and mens basketball then. While Quincy plays on huge courts, with cheering crowds, while Monica plays in small, second-rate gyms, with a smaller, quieter crowds.After collage, Monica's only way to play professional basketball is to go to Europe, since it takes place before the WNBA was started. Quincy, meanwhile, gets into the NBA quickly. The movie ends with Monica telling Quincy how she really feels about him, and the final scene is her playing in the WNBA.

Review: This movie is awsome .I loved it soo much.I watch it everyday at least i got the soundtrack i got the DVD and VHS its just such a great movie i mean words cant explain how i feel for this movie .Omar Epps and sanna lathan did a wonderful job. i just loved this movie so much and its a little late now cuz it was made in i dont know exactly the year but a few years ago but it would be really cool for a sequel!!!!! WEll this Rim BReakin Movie You need to see it if u haven't

Review: This movie is one of my favorites. It was given to me for Christmas and on Christmas night, you could of caught me in my room watching this over and over because I love it so much!! The love scenes in it are so real. I love how we watch them develop into adults through the movie. If you are a basketball star, you're sure to love this movie--and even if you aren't into basketball, you're sure to love it (like me)!...

Review: Love and Basketball was very moving. Love is timeless and we see this during the film. This flick isn't just about two young people loving each other. We see family life, peer relationships, marriage issues (trust), and of course....basketball. Believe you me, watch this movie and enjoy.....

Review: OK, you want a little love story DVD to watch with a honey. This is it. Maybe you want some sports mixed in with it. This is definitely it. Love and basketball is about life, its challenges, dealing with one's passions and one's limitations. It's a love story about the boy/girl next door, both of whom share a passion for basketball. It's also about trust, love, honesty. The story flows nicely and executive producer Spike Lee could learn to add a bit more humanity of this sort in his films. This is a story about passion -- for a sport and for a friend/lover -- and the fact that they are African American is irrelevant. It could have been two Mexican-Americans obsessed with baseball/softball. What comes across is a tale of passion, of love for sport and life and one's friends and family, and the realization that not everyone makes it to "the top" and succeeds. It's a very engaging movie, one I've seen three times now and still enjoy. I minor masterpiece..
