Summary: I'd like to see Slater and Masterson together again!
Review: Although we may not like to admit it, I think we all want to be "rescued" at some point in our lives, from whatever is plaguing us at the time. Masterson plays the perfect "damsel", needing desperately to be rescued, but not believing that she is the kind of person worthy of being rescued. Slater is wonderful as the "prince". He's been on the fast track, and knows now that it's more important to "take time to smell the roses". Whenever I see my husband taking the fast track too seriously, I make him sit and watch this movie with me. I would love to see Slater and Masterson together again.

Summary: I've finally found my "Lewis"
Review: This is a touching video. Being a woman I would have to admit it is definately more a "girl movie" than a "guy movie". Sorry there are no car chases or bombs going off. But it is very tender story that gives women hope that men do honestly have compassionate feelings for women. I, too, like Masterson's character, am a work-a-holic and when Chris (my Lewis) gave me purple roses for Valentine's day, (and other things) I knew I had found the man of my dreams. Buy this video and play it for you guy and if the only thing it prompts him to do is buy you flowers, then hit him with it.

Summary: A fairy tale
Review: I think that Bed of roses is what most women want in a man. The kind tender not willing to give up because they can see what is good within us even though in this world we have to try and hide it.

Summary: A Great Modern Love Story.
Review: This movie is wonderful. I really enjoyed the scene where Christian Slater walks by Mary Stuart Masterson's place at night and sees her crying, very much like in Romeo and Juliet. A beautiful movie and probably my favorite happy kind of love story. The music set for this movie is also beautiful and worth buying. Siskel & Ebert even gave this film two thumbs up. I'm glad I have this video, i'd be sad and empty without it.

Summary: A Romance As Sweet as Flowers...
Review: I watched "Bed Of Roses" quite some time ago and didn't run across it again until recently when I was watching "Untamed Heart" which also starred Christian Slater in it. "Bed Of Roses" was a sweet movie. It seems a bit unrealistic that a person (Louis) would be walking at night and look up and see a woman crying (Lisa) and then send her flowers, but why not? Isn't anything possible? It certainly made for a wonderful movie and meeting of the two main characters later, when Lisa goes looking to see who sent the flowers. I thought the movie could have delved into Lisa and Louis's characters more and that Mary Stewart Masterson could have gave a less cardboardish performance, but over all I really liked this movie. I like a romance that doesn't "hit you over the head" with the meaning of the story, but one that is subtle. Also look for some classic "funny momnents" like the morning after Louis and Lisa's first night together where he is going on about breakfast foods and getting her toothpaste and her own robe!!!! Very comical! I would say, if you like a good romance and you like a movie that is meant just for the two people, without a lot of other story line situations getting in the way, this is for you!!!

Summary: ~Beautiful~
Review: This is one of my favorite movie of Christian Slater, very sweet, soft & gentle, romantic heart-warming film. Christian plays as a florist. His passion, honest, and true love rescues a cold-hearted business-oriented New Yorker lady Lisa (played by Mary Stuart Masterson). They fall in love together quite fast, but some imprefect childhood and psychological barriers separate them apart. Unlike the other great movie 'Untamed Heart', this one has a good happy ending. This is truely indeed a beautiful story.
