Rating: Summary: Why was a movie like this ever released? Review: Good Will Hunting was one of the most pointless, stupid, and overrated movies ever. It was so so slow and boring and I don't even know why some people called it a tear-jercker--it wasn't even sad!!
Rating: Summary: One of the best films of the year Review: Good Will Hunting is an excellent film. Its script's written by very young people, who were able to create a story that makes us cry and laugh. It's the story of a young man who clens an important college. He's a genius, and soon a teacher discovers it. It's difficult for the guy, who has always be almost a homeless, without any money or known ability, to adapt to a genius' life. The film's about his adaptation to the life he has to live and how he does it, even with psychological help. The cast is excellent, and Matt Damon and the handsome Ben Affleck are surprises. As always, Robin Williams is wonderful, and also Minnie Driver acts good at the film.
Rating: Summary: One of my personal favorites Review: Good Will Hunting is one of the most moving and intellectual movies I've seen in a while, while still having plenty of comedy and some romance. It definately deserved more awards than it received. It is also enspiring to know that Matt Damon and Ben Afleck wrote this movie when they were my age. Amazing.
Rating: Summary: The Best Movie Ever Review: Good Will Hunting has it all. It has one of the deepest meanings to me. This movie has brought my friend and I closer together. All I can say is see this movie and you will be forever changed. Your life will be filled with joy and happiness.
Rating: Summary: THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!! Review: This picture changed my opinion on what makes a movie great. The cast is just awesome. Matt Damon delivers a career making performance. His portrayal of young Will Hunting is amazing. He hits you at all angles, making you laugh, cry, scream, and think. Robin Williams without a doubt earned the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his portayal as Will's therapist Sean. Along with Oscar nominee Minnie Driver and Ben Affleck, you just can't go wrong with this movie. It's no suprise that this movie earned 9 Academy Award nominations and 2 Oscar wins. One of those going to Robin Williams, and the other to Ben Affleck and Matt Damon for their awe inspiring screenplay. The deleted scenes that were added to the DVD make the movie even better. As an associate of a world-wide video rental store, I have seen my fair share of great movies. But this one in particular is the one that I would recommend to anyone in need of seeing an all around great flick. DON'T MISS IT!!!
Rating: Summary: I loved this movie it is an absolutly touching story. Review: I have watched this movie with my friends about four times now, Ijust loved it so much. I would definatly give this two thumbs up!
Rating: Summary: Good enough for me Review: This movie was one of the best movies I have ever seen. Matt and Ben have a gift, and they should write more movies.
Rating: Summary: A very well written screenplay. Review: It's one of the years best movies. And with great performances by Matt Damon and Robin Williams.
Rating: Summary: I would rate this a great film Review: This movie was rather interesting. there was a lot of charictor change
Rating: Summary: Overrated Movie Review: Good Will Hunting received a lot of hype, but I just don't think it warrants it. Robin Williams is excellent and deserving of the Oscar he received for his roll in the movie, but the rest of the cast just had no appeal to me, even Minnie Driver, who I believe is one of the most stunningly beautiful and talented young actresses of our time. I'm not one to get offended at foul language in a movie, but this movie has a lot of it and I believe it is totally unnecessary. All in all, a disappointment.
