Summary: Hauntingly romantic but somewhat confusing.
Review: We have watched this movie many times and it never ceases to captivate our hearts, minds, and emotions. It also always leaves us...wondering! Jane Seymour was beautiful and enchanting. Christoper Reeve did not give his finest performance. However, the scenery is outstanding and the plot is intriguing. It is definitely a "must see" movie for couples as well as families. It makes for great conversations afterward when everyone tried to figure out what really happened.

Summary: One of the top two movie love stories of all time!
Review: My wife and I have seen Somewhere in Time countless times and have the video, tape, CD and LP. To us, the music is as important to the movie and the script, actors, setting, etc. When we play the music, we can see the scenes and remember the character's dialogue. We long to visit The Grand Hotel and Mackinac Island. Yes, it is a tearjerker. Aren't all good things which overwhealm the soul and spirit?

Summary: WONDERFUL LOVE STORY THAT WILL NEVER LEAVE YOUR MIND.
Review: Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour give the performances of their careers. Beautifully staged in Mackinac Island, Mi at the Grand Hotel. Features Rachmaninov themes. Truly an unforgettable experience to share with someone you love.

Summary: Long before Titanic, there was Somewhere In Time!!
Review: One of the most moving romance movies of all time! See this one with someone you love (or someone you want to love!) Keep your eyes on Jane Seymour during The Play, in which she delivers one of the screen's best-written speeches!!

Summary: My all time favorite.
Review: This is a must for everyone's video library. This will be the second time I have ordered this video. Whoever borrowed it must be enjoying as much as I have.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: I saw this movie many years ago and remembered it as a truely great love story. Unfortunately time has changed my opinion. The plot is great and perhaps under the authorship of another screen writer the movie could have been great. Christopher Reeves acting was disappointing (just another version of Clark Kent). The way the story was implemented was truely unbelievable. Many plot elements didn't make much sense. The author missed many chances for good dramatic development. For example upon first seeing Reeves, Seymor says something like "Are you him?" Instead of leaving this thought of meeting Reeves as her destiny, the question is answered by Seymour saying later that her manager warned her about men who will approach her. Too bad, but this is an example of many lost opportunities to create a wonderful story. Get "What Dreams May Come" instead. Much better writting.

Summary: Thailand took the words right out of my mouth
Review: This is truly one of the best movies I have ever seen. I first watched this movie back when I was around 15 (I'm 30 now) and I have watched it at least once a year since. Christopher Reve and Jane Seymour are incredible.

Summary: One of the greatest movies I 've ever seen
Review: Everytime I see this movie, I still cry. When I see this movie, I feel like I am dreaming. In fact, this movie rekindle my dream. This movie can tell u how much love worth to fight for and to live for. END

Summary: The Greatest Love Story Of All Time A Must That Everyone See
Review: This movie is The Best love story movie ever made. It is only second to "The Wizard Of Oz" . Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymore portray the most moving charaters that ever hit the screen. Have a box of Kleenex tissues as there will NOT be a dry eye in the house. If this movie does NOT touch your heart, nothing ever will and you need to make an appointment with your doctor to see if you have a heart. A must to see 100 times. END

Summary: ALL-TIME GREAT ROMANCE FILM!
Review: A "must have" for romance film lovers, with a captivating music soundtrack by one of the greatest movie composers of all time (can you guess who?). Finally available on DVD WIDESCREEN, this is a true escape experience for anyone with a good 60" widescreen home theatre and Dolby sound (or just put on those great Radio Shack headphones for an out-of-city trip to the past). Brief: Christopher Reeves goes back in time (mind over matter) and finds himself in turn of the century Victorian New England, all the time looking for a mysterious young lady that has endeared a time-warp romance for two generations. This is a film worth watching several times for greater insight. The soundtrack is also available on CD. (From west of Glacier National Park, Montana, Jeremy & Jean). END
