Summary: Excellent choice!
Review: I just saw this movie and it overwelmed me!
It shows what can happen when some people don't think sensibly. For on thing, but it's a beautiful story. And some of the best actors you could ever hope to meet. Lucky for me, my mother wanted to see Karl Urban, so I got to meet him at a convention, he's a really sweet man. And when I saw the preview for this movie, I thought to myself, "what the heck is that about?" - so I had to get it, and I believe it's worth twice the amount you pay!

Summary: Mad Movie
Review: I really liked the movie. It had a twisted sense of humor and watching it felt a bit like being in a bad dream but it was very sweet.

Summary: Price of Milk
Review: I saw this movie at the Angelika Center.I felt that the movie was interesting. It certainly captures the interest of the audience with the funny exchages between Rob and Danielle Cormack. However, there are certain scenes in the movie that make the viewer go and ask just how can one character be so stupid. I understand that it's a fairy tale romance but since a lot of the characters were so exaggerated, it was really hard to identify with any of them. The character Rob really lacked depth. I really beleive that the actor who played him should have tried to add more personality to his character. Then there is the heroine's so called scheming best friend who was supposed to come across as someone who was looking for love but ended up coming across as a real villian. Aside from the unrealistic character connections formed in the movie I have to give credit to the movies sceanery, spectacular. The Maori characters were interesting since they added a mystic feeling to the movie. I would say go and watch the movie but go in expecting exagerrated characters and focus on the finer points of the movie, such as it's comedy and heartfelt wisdom. This movie is not for everyone.

Summary: A worthwhile movie.
Review: If you ever wanted something that could make you laugh, make you cry, and just experience a few other emotions, this movie is the ticket. I was flipping through the channels today, when a friend of mine came by. I had stopped on Sundance Channnel, and, by luck, it was about to start as we were talking about other mundane things. We HAD to stop talking and just watch silently as the movie unfolded, from the agoraphobic dog (we laughed), to just these things Lucinda and Rob did that wouldn't pop up on a given person's mind. The backdrop, the score, only further accentuate this little gem, and I do hope that it is pressed on DVD, so I can spread the word to all. ^_^ Have a blast and enjoy something simple, yet beautiful that can be enjoyed by all. It also is fresh, which can't be said of quite a few of some movies out of the Hollywood meat grinder.

Summary: A Surreal Romantic-Comedy..
Review: Price of Milk is a contemporary fairy tale with about love where a princess is exchanged for an ordinary girl, Lucinda. Rob, the prince, and Lucinda are happy and they are looking forward to getting married. The happiness lasts until the day when one of Lucinda's friends tells her that men want their women more after fights. In the process they end up getting their quilt stolen in the middle of the night, which adds to the looming predicaments. Price of Milk provides many different ideas that are presented in a surrealistic manner, which actually enhances the impact of the story. The ideas in the story also offer entertainment as well as self-reflection and in the end awards the audience with a clever cinematic experience.

Summary: Fairy Tale
Review: The Price of Milk - A modern day fairy tale set in New Zealand involving two lovers, a villian, and the magical old lady who helps them realize what they have. The story as well as the scenery is beautiful. All in all it is a great film. Not your typical romantic comedy. Very funny and heartwarming from the dog in the box to the tiny shoes. It is definately something everyone should see!
