Summary: Point of order
Review: Am I the only one who noticed that Sherilyn's carpet didn't match her drapes, if you get my drift?

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Kristy McNichol in all her glory!
Review: April (Sherilyn Fenn, [Twin Peaks] has just completed college. She has a boyfirend played by Martin Hewitt (Endless Love [1981]), but she still fantasies about marrying a most handsome man. She meets a carnival worker, well tanned with his shirt off and blues jeans on. His name is Perry (played by Richard Tyson). While her boyfriend is away on a trip, April goes to the carnival again to see Perry, but keeps her distance. The next day, she finds Perry in the shower in her house. And so the tug-o-war begins. Dabbs Greer (Little House on the Prarie, The Green Mile [1999]) and Herve Villechaize (Fantasy Island) play carnival workers. Louise Fletcher (Brainstorm [1983]), Burl Ives (Cat on A Hot Tin Roof [1958]) have roles. Kristy McNichol is hilarious in her role as a bisexual cowgirl who can drive a diesel truck.

Summary: This has been a favorite for years for me!
Review: I absolutely love this movie! I think I have watched it about 25 times! I have been watching it since about age 12, when I started liking the type of guy that "Perry" was! I have to agree with the Burbank review! This movie is great! I think it is much better than its sequel. I highly recommend this to women especially. I think for men it is a little chessy, but if they like Sherilyn Fenn, this is for them! I am 21 and this movie has been on my list of favorites since about the time it came out on video! There should be more movies like this!

Summary: Definitely worth watching! Entertainment for men and women.
Review: I first rented this movie about 10 years ago on the recommendation of a male friend of mine. I definitely thought this was a movie that both male and females would enjoy. How could any male resist the luminous and incredible beauty of Sherilyn Fenn and the undeniable raw animal magnetism of Richard Tyson -- those eyes, those lips, that unbelieveable body. Since then, I have been trying to see everything that Richard Tyson is in. I definitely believe this movie is one of his best role to date, as he seems to get type-cast as a "heavy" in most of his other movies, although I did enjoy his performance in the Red Shoes Diaries Part III, which was basically, a one-man show and he carried it off great. I truely enjoy his acting style as it appears he tries to individualize each character he plays, even when playing the "heavies". This movie is definitely worth watching and Kristie McNichols gives a refreshingly surprising and different performance than you would normally expect from her. I recently re-rented this movie and watched it over and over and over again. It's definitely a sexual fantasy for both men and women and I think there isn't a woman around who wouldn't succumb to the bad-boy charm of the character Mr. Tyson portrays. You can't help but love him in this movie. I've finally decided I had to add this movie to my permanent collection of movies and bought it. It sure does help getting through some long nights!

Summary: Is worth seeing just to gaze upon Richard Tyson!
Review: I have loved this movie since I first watched it when I was about 16. What a bod, what a face, what a man! I shouldn't get started. I definitely fell in love with Richard Tyson from the moment I laid eyes on him. It is definitely a fantasy for women with a plot I actually enjoyed. Ever since then I have had a thing about carnivals!

Summary: Not what I expected
Review: I have to say that this movie was much less then I expected. I watched this with my wife and she didn't care for it either. If you are watching it purely from a movie stand point: The acting was sub-par, the plot was almost non-existent, and many scenes were down right comical how poorly they were shot. A typical 80's B movie flop.
If you are watching it for a soft-core-porn: The femaile lead is fairly hot, but not great. For the ladies, my wife thought the male lead was rather disgusting. The nudity was rather random and for the most part not sexy enough to do anything for either one of us. The last scene is extremely hot, but it's rather sudden and seems contrived.
It's sad really, this movie had so much potential and it became a real waste of talent. I have seen many of these actors in other things and they were outstanding. I think this movie just tried a little too hard.

Summary: hardly worth it
Review: I picked this film up after seeing Fenn in Kiss of the Beast. The love-making and overall acting of this one are both very weak! It's basically a cheesy romance novel with no heat. They need to make Kiss of the Beast into a DVD version. That film is much better!

Summary: EROTIC?! MORE LIKE IDIOTIC...
Review: I rented this movie thinking it would be worth the $1.99 rental but unfortunately it wasn't... Tyson looked bored or like he could care less through out the movie and Fenn over acted big time on the love sequences... I have seen her in better movies with more clothing on and much better acting... I HATED HER BLONDE HAIR!!! It didn't look good on her and it just looked unnatural in that horrid shade... She is gorgeous as a brunette but, as usual, Hollywood only believes blondes can be sexy and tempting?!?!?!?!? And what was up with the crying all the time? I didn't get it??? This movie did nothing for me and I just cringed at how unnatural the love scenes were... Fletcher and McNichol must of been hard up for work to be in this trash... Campy?! The dialogue was stupid as well as the plot and I didn't care enough whether or not they got together by the end of the movie or not!! Just roll the credits and end this viewing nightmare... Don't be swayed by the other reviewers... It ain't as good as you think... It is one of those movies you want to see since you hear so much stuff about it but believe me it is over hyped...

Summary: Still a great erotic romp for women viewers!
Review: I said it before, and I will say it again: this movie is a big turn-on for women! (At least women that I know, and I am in my 30's). Richard Tyson oozes sex appeal, as does the lovely Sherilyn Fenn. Don't watch this to be intellectually stimulated; watch it to be erotically stimulated! What a great fantasy!

Summary: a true coming of age movie
Review: I saw this movie the summer after graduating from college while I was trying to choose between marrying a law student or dumping him for a summer with a construction worker. I was living with a sorority sister and she and I both LOVED this movie (I still regret not finding out which scenes she liked best). Needless to say, Fenn's choice, as a sorority belle, of a respectable marriage or lust with a carny, sidetracked temporarily by Kristy McNichol, really spoke to me. It got me hooked onto soft-core porn, especially those with bi-experimental themes. And gave me a whole new respect for southern belles. This is a classic and a must-see for any curious woman who still loves her men.
