Rating: Summary: not a good movie Review: forces of nature is a movie that just isn't very good. The plot seems ok at first but as the movie progresses it doesn't really build up to an anticipated climax. The relationship between Bullock and Affleck is forced and does not come naturally. It seems as if there is not much passion or forbidden love between the two the way the movie builds it up to be. I think Affleck made the right choice at the end though, because the girl he chose was prettier and seemed like she would be more stable and faithful to her man.
Rating: Summary: a boring movie Review: this movie is a triumph of cliche: the plot is one you've seen so many times before that you can't believe anyone would flog it one more time(a road/buddie movie where the leads are of opposite temperament and gender, and end up (surprise! ) entangled). the characters are similarly stereotyped: the blonde-next-door sweetheart, the befuddled, bewildered, stodgy male, the whore with the heart of gold who sets him free (to return to his sweetheart as a wiser and deeper man). the dialogue, the situations, the plot twists, are all so predictably stale that you're not sure if you've wandered into some three-digit channel at 3am. the basic fallacy behind this movie is the "what do you do with a dead horse?" answer: "pump him up with air and he'll float."
Rating: Summary: An all time favorite Review: This movie is one that if you want to sit down, and watch a light hearted comedy, it's perfect. The cast and special effects are great, as is the soundtrack. Forces of Nature does have its unbelievable moments, but they don't take away from what the movie truly is: an hour and 45 minutes of complete, harmless fun. A true favorite.
Rating: Summary: Has some funny moments. Review: Forces of Nature wasn't a bad film. It wasn't that original, but there were a handful of laughable parts though. The acting was good and the story wasn't bad either. The cinematograhy was interesting in places too. Forces of Nature was a pretty good movie.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful movie, amazing chemistry! Review: I absolutely loved this movie! Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock had some amazing chemistry. The cinematography was great and I just loved the story. It wasn't your typical predictable ending. This is a movie I will definitely buy!
Rating: Summary: Very disappointing Review: We have three romantic comedies starring Sandra Bullock, "While You Were Sleeping", "Hope Floats", and "Practical Magic", all of which we enjoyed. We looked forward to "Forces of Nature", but found the plot very silly. If the groom-to-be couldn't get from New York to Savannah by plane, he had many reasonable options other than the foolish choices in the movie. Furthermore, there didn't seem to be any chemistry between Affleck and Bullock, and Bullock's character was very poorly drawn. The worst aspect of the picture was the camera work. There were far too many tight closeups. Too many scenes were set in garish surroundings, and too often Bullock and Affleck were lit with blue lights. So visually the picture was unattractive. The final nail in the coffin was the frequent loud and obstrusive music, and for a PG-13 rating, the use of the "F" word. Our copy of this movie will be available for sale.
Rating: Summary: VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED Review: I was looking for a lighthearted romance/comedy when I picked this out, a fluffy "chic-flic." This proved to be so much more. There were some neat effects, cute humor, a touching music, but the most profound part of the movie was the "Wedding/Hurricaine" scene at the end. Without giving away the plot, let me just say that the dialog here went beyond movie script. Anyone wishing to make a committment should take these words to heart!
Rating: Summary: REALLY GOOD! Must have for Ben Affleck fans! Review: Guaranteed to be one of your top ten faves! This movie is entertaing, romantic, funny... just a well rounded movie! It features young talent, you're going to LUV Ben in this movie!Too hot! Give this movie a chance!
Rating: Summary: Movie was pretty flat Review: My daughter and I watched this movie together. We found the humor a little flat. The story message is good and I liked the ending. Ben and his fiance obviously liked each other. There's always going to be a "Sarah" in everyone's life that didn't get experienced. Sarah represents exciting irresponsible experiences. Ultimately, we all have to return to reality and enjoy the gifts that come with it.
Rating: Summary: TO FIND AND TO PROTECT A REAL LOVE IS SO HARD Review: I LIKED IT TOO MUCH.I ENJOYED AND LAUGHED.ACCORDING TO THE BAD DAYS WE LIVE BECOUSE OF THE EARTHQUAKE I FELT MYSELF HAPPY.
