Rating: Summary: Stunningly Realistic and Powerful Review: I really liked this film a lot. Two married people meet at an inn during a business function and hit it off and wind up in bed together. Both realize that though they found what they did to be highly enjoyable, they do not want to disrupt their own lives. So instead they agree to meet at the same place for the annual business function, next year. As the movie progresses we see them meeting each other, year by year and sharing what has passed in their own lives during that time. We seem them looking a little different and a little older each time.A great relationship with no strings attached! I also loved the theme song from the movie.

Rating: Summary: MY FAVORITE MOVIE Review: I saw the stage play of SAME TIME NEXT YEAR in the late 70's or early 80's at Detroit's Fisher Theatre. It was excellent. When the movie came out, I was in line. I then saw it on TV and have subsequently purchased it. It is the only movie that I watch over and over. I love the song, "The Last Time I Felt Like This" and can be found on CD "The Best of Johnny Mathis 1975-1980". The story might appeal to anyone who has ever loved someone outside of a committed marriage. If this were to happen to me, I would be torn as to whether this idea would actually work in real life. It must be a fantasy, but it's a tantalizing idea.
Rating: Summary: Brings back memories Review: I saw this movie about 20 years ago and will always consider it my favorite. Just recalling those days of loneliness in my heart and the way I felt connected to this movie still brings a sad smile to my face. It was such a touching story! You'll never forget this one.
Rating: Summary: oh, how wonderful! Review: I saw this movie for the first time about 10 years ago, and have always loved it, yet didn't know the name of it! Having stumbled across it again a few months ago, I have been left with the same feelings I had all those years ago. What a beautiful, touching film.....most of us will never experience such a 'romance' and 'friendship' but oh, wouldn't it be wonderful......
Rating: Summary: Simply Stunning Review: I saw this movie recently for the first time, and I'd heard "The Last Time I Felt Like This" before that. Seeing Alda and Burstyn act out the trials and tribulations of a passionate couple torn by their infidelity added a new depth to the music as it played into the backdrop of their affair. The movie, and it's premise, made me think deeply about life and what it's like to find the one person you need at any cost.
Rating: Summary: One of my Top 5! Review: I was introduced to this film by a guy friend when I was 16 y/o. This film holds special meaning to me for a lot of different ways. The movie is a storyline about two married people over a period of 26 years. The characters go through the up's and down's over their years. The ending is bittersweet, very heart breaking, and probably the best ending for the film. A movie for those who love Romance even if means a "Cheating Couple". Watch it!!!
Rating: Summary: Great Entertainment! Loved it! Review: If you liked "Bridges over Madison County", you will love this video. A most unlikely love affair. Great romantic comedy. Alan Alda at his best!
Rating: Summary: Soul Mates Review: If you've ever found your soul mate, and for whatever reason couldn't be with them, you need to see this movie. It's about two people who meet by chance (as soul mates do), but they are both happily married - to other people. George and Doris love their spouses and don't want to leave, yet they have found a soul connection in each other that they can explain nor deny. So they meet at the same place, on the same weekend every year. They each assist the other in dealing with obstacles in their lives and they work through the guilt and limits of their relationship. No matter how each of their lives change (mostly Doris') and how different their lives are, they still love each other for who they are. In the beginning it can seem kind of cheesy and the characters can be a little annoying, but throughout the movie you will seem them grow to their full potential.
Rating: Summary: For Maried Couples Review: It is rich in conversation and emotion. It offers something different each time I watch it. After ten years, I still look forward to watching it each fall with the one I love. Our version of Same Time, Next Year.
