Rating: Summary: Ukkk!--Gag me with a spoon!! Review: Gwyneth Paltrow has got to be the most over-rated actress of all time. This is not an exaggeration. Why do people say her English accent is so good? I thought it was so embarassingly phoney, I could barely stand watching her. She also acted like she was high or stoned throughout the whole movie. Also, all those close-ups showed what ugly skin and plain facial features she really has. Nobody else in this movie was good enough to offset her horrendous acting and appearance. Overall, this film is a waste of time.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME! Review: This is the kind of romance movie I like. Paltrow is fetching as a novelist who learns how a split second can change your life. It has a great male cast too. John Lynch as the guy who can't make up his mind. John Hannah as the "boyfriend". And last is Jeane Tripplehorn who is the one Lynches character doesn't know if he should continue to see Paltrow and have an affair. Or if he should dump Paltrow and go with Tripplehorn. The big question for all you people who are going to see it is, Does Paltrow get the right man either way?
Rating: Summary: This is my favorite movie Review: I loved this movie soooo much. I think it is so sweet and romantic. It always cheers me up when I am sad. I think everyone should buy this movie.
Rating: Summary: SLIDING DOORS: Safe! Review: Without spoiling the end for you, I can say SLIDING DOORS shows God may have a plan for you in spite of your own free will. Excellent performances by supporting players Jeanne Tripplehorn, John Lynch and the comic actor (I forget his name, but he's a hoot) who plays Lynch's best friend provide SLIDING DOORS' most memorable scenes. See SLIDING DOORS.
Rating: Summary: Answers the question, "What If?" Review: This movie had an original idea with great acting and script too! The ending was good but was a little shocking and disapointing (if you saw it you know what I mean). After I saw it, I couldn't get over the ending. But I loved it and enjoyed it very much especially main male lead who played James!! He's so adorable in the movie!
Rating: Summary: i like this movie! Review: Gwyneth Paltrow was doing a great job. She acts even better than Seven
Rating: Summary: What if.... Review: Ever spend your time wondering what would have happened if you had gone to the movies with your friend? Or if you just hadn't said no to that guy/girl who asked you out? Then this is the movie for you! Here we see Helen (Gwyneth Paltrow) go two separate ways - missing the train, and if she had made the train. You'll see how split second occurances can affect your life.
Rating: Summary: Very intriguing, one of my all time favs Review: I loved this movie this first, second, third.... time I saw it. The story is so original and keeps you guessing until the very end. It really lent me a new perspective on life and how things can change (for the better or for the worse). Although it is a "Chic flick" I think anybody would enjoy the message. Superb acting and very funny.
Rating: Summary: fantastic Review: Gwyneth Paltrow again does a dazzling job with a movie. But this one didn't get much notice from the big screen critics. However, it is a twisty-turny movie with great acting. I've rented it several times and am breaking down to buy it.
Rating: Summary: Best Ever Review: This is definitely my favorite movie of all-time. We rented it one weekend and watched it three nights in a row, then proceeded to buy it. It is one of those movies I had to own ("Fools Rush In" being the only other in that category). The acting is fabulous, the setting is wonderful, and the script is amazing. It is hillarious and keeps you on your toes. I think the very last scene is also great--it is all so original. Even the music is good; the soundtrack has stayed in my cd player for weeks. Make a point to see this movie!!
