Summary: I was on a no cry record...
Review: Mandy Moore has been one of my favorite female soloists but I wasn't too sure about her acting. I mean, "The Princess Diaries" wasn't too much of a stress for her role, but "A Walk to Remember" really put her to the test. ...And she passed - with flying colors (literally, I was crying so hard!).

Shane West was great too; his character brought out all the emotions we go through and his performance was just incredible! (And I interrupt to say that he is incredibly hot, and he and Mandy are such a cute couple on the screen!)

Now for the story (which we've all heard by now): a rebel falls for the plain but sweet daughter of a minister, getting to know her during his punishments for a prank with his friends. Don't groan or judge this another teen plot of geek turns out not-so-geeky - this book was written by the same author as "Message in a Bottle" and it is the sweetest movie out there.

While it may seem like any other love story (life-altering, sappy, tragic) the cast manages to pull it off and give you a whole new impression! My big-mouthed friends had basically given me a line-by-line summary of the movie, but I was caught anyway in the theater, gasping and crying. ...And guys: this is a sure lesson in love for you! ;-)

Summary: It's Rememberable
Review: Given the definition of a chick flick, A Walk to Remember falls right into the category. But does that mean a guy can't enjoy? No, because I -- a guy -- thoroughly enjoyed every single second of A Walk to Remember. From the first scene until the credits began, I was involved in the movie which is a rarity because I sometimes find myself becoming uncomfortable in a movie theatre, but I didn't while watching A Walk to Remember.

The movie tells the story of two young people from two opposites of the clique chain. Jamie Sullivan, the quiet, shy Christian girl who's only interests seems to be the stars and her one sweater. And Landon Carter, a popular and sometimes harsh guy who's only interests seem to be being popular. When an accident happens that crosses these two's lives, they begin to learn about each other, and fall in love. But with love, there always comes consequences.

This story, which could have been very stereotyped, flowed through gracefully throughout the movie with hardly ever a snag. The great acting also kept it flowing. Shane West was great as Landon. His every move and emotion could be felt. Daryl Hannah and Peter Coyote were great and believable as the grown-ups. And of course, the star, Mandy Moore. I never doubted that she could act, but she was amazing! She certainly now has a greater career in films now. Besides being a favorite music artist of mine, she is now a favorite actress.

With the combination of a great story, a very talented cast, and a wonderful soundtrack, A Walk to Remember is one of the best and most real "teen" drama to be released.

Summary: better than i expected
Review: when i went to see this movie, i had already read the book and cryed and i just figured that mandy moore couldnt make me cry because she's this little pop star trying to act but she completely surprised me with how well she did in this movie. and as for shane west, one word comes to mind...YUM! Everytime he smiled he just melts your heart! i thought both did very well on this movie portraying this unconventional couple.
favorite scenes-
1.when mandy is embarrased at school and as she turns to leave she runs into shane and he protects her infront of everyone at school. When her head hit his shoulder as she turned around,i got chills down my spine.
2.shane teaching mandy to dance out on her porch.
3.whenever they kiss, their heads lean against one another's as if they were a real couple(great acting in this movie!)

Summary: "A Walk To Remember" - a movie to remember
Review: This movie is great! the story is so touching and the meaning is wonderful. if you haven't read the book yet, read it! the book is excellent, and one of my absolute favorites (just like this movie is one of my favorites). i have to admit though, that the story in the book is slightly better than the story in the movie, only because of some small details that wouldn't have made sense in the movie were really symbolic in the book.
i love the idea that an outcast girl changes a good-for-nothing guy into someone caring and just overall wonderful. this movie expresses so many emotions, which i'm urging you to feel for yourself by watching the movie! mandy moore was quite a good actress for her part, but shane west was REALLY EXCELLENT!! i love him in this movie! he's so believable in his role, and such a great actor. shane west can really drive the audience into tears! he's probably one of my favorite actors now.
the soundtrack is excellent, with a mixture of all types of music. the music flows really well with the movie too.
i do think that "A Walk To Remember" is a movie you will remember.

Review: This movie was excellent. It had humor, suspense, and of course tear jerking parts. If you have read the book, believe it when it says "You will laugh and you will cry. Don't say you haven't been warned." I recommend this to EVERYONE. Mandy Moore and Shane West were awesome together.

Summary: really good movie
Review: This movie was so good that when i went to it last weekend i had my eyes glued to the screen! The soundtrack is also very good!(my fave's are 'only hope', 'someday we'll know', and 'cry'!) Back to the movie. The movie takes place in the mid 90's in a small town. A popular jock and A school outkast have seen each other all of their lifes but finely they meet on a bus to toutering camp. Jamie (mandy) tries to make conversation but landen (shane) makes a few rude remarks. He finaly sees her beauty at the school play as they are the main characters in the play she sings 'only hope' to him and then they kiss. After that Landen's friends do a horrible prank on Jamie and landen is there to the rescue. Then as they are looking at the stars through jamies telescope is when they fall in love and have feelings for each other.
I am not going to tell you the rest because it would ruin the movie for you. So go and pay your 10.00 and see it. you will be satisfied! promise!

Summary: A walk to remember
Review: This movie is wonderful and ful of emotions and everyday things. Most people know that teens can make fun of you for being unpopular. It is so hard not being part of a group. This movie is a story about a girl who doesnt care what others think. She meets again with a boy and then she gets made fun of. This is when she becomes embarresed. The boy then helps her and they fall in love. Sometings terribly sad happens at the end but i'm not going to tell you so watch the movie to find out how this romantic powerful movie turns out. I loved this movie a lot and i rated it a 5 star and would rate it higher if i could.
Thanx,
Hope this was helpful,

Summary: A Walk to Remember is the BEST MOVIE ever!
Review: A Walk to Remember was the best, most unforgettable movie I have ever seen. It's theme of love and mystery is so sad. Mandy Moore and Shane West have really got this movie down. Thank you Nicholas Sparks for writing such a great book. Adam Shankman and your crew, you do an incredible job. I'd really like to meet Mandy Moore and Shane West, but they make an incredible acting couple. What's really great about it is that it is not sappy and predictable. This movie is sad, sweet, and unforgettable swirled in one. A Walk to Remember is the most unforgettable, best movie ever.
