Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Perfectly Flawed
Review: What a great movie, easy worth 5 stars, right up there with anything from John (Breakfast Club) Hughes can put our way.
Flawed? The re-dubbing makes it unwatchable. Save all your hard earned cash and buy the original European version. You'll still understand it, and the movie'll be a far more authentic experience for you.
Trust me.

Summary: Superb
Review: What an amazing film! Still after 10 years remains one of my favorites and should be up there amongst all the other international classics that shy away from Hollywood blandness. Fantastic.

Summary: It's g o r g e o u s!!!
Review: What is not to like about this film? It is a charming and interesting little love story. Although slightly off-beat and full of odd characters, Gregory's Girl is nevertheless chock full of good humour and pleasingly entertaining....Not to mention the wonderful Scottish brogue accenting every last bit of witty dialogue. One can not help but empathize in similar school-boy fashion and skittishness with the main character Gregory and his plight for the love of the 'new-girl/soccer-diva'. "She's gorgeous!", says he....Add an uniquely 80's soundtrack (all the rage once again I admit)to top it off, who can ask for more? And if anyone remembers that 80's band 'Altered Images', then they should see this film! I first saw it in the 80's and loved it! To this day it remains one of my favourites! I highly recommend this film to anyone, they'll enjoy it!

Summary: What the hell was with that penguin?
Review: When I saw "Gregory's Girl" for the first time I can remember somebody telling me "Yea but you'll have to give up your American citizenship". At 14 years old at the time one could identify with "Gregory's" character. "Gregory's Girl" dealt with that very difficult and awkward time of human existence called adolescence. Especially for Gregory who seemed to be out of synch with the rest of the world. From everyone in the school directing the penguin to the small child mowing the lawn alongside the adult, "Gregory's Girl" charm invokes the viewer to pay close attention. I believe someone here has an excellent memory.

Summary: It's the toenail! (i.e.: it's the bomb!)
Review: Wonderfully low key and pointless! Despite the out of date clothing, the high school life continues to perfectly reflect the agonies of adolescence felt by us all. The most wonderful aspect of this movie is how everybody is in their own way very pleasant (and Steve is a hotty!).
