Review: A Classic Masterpiece - truly beautiful. This is honestly my favorite movie. It is truly a masterpiece. Words cannot express how beautiful I think this movie is. It is so moving and is such a beautiful--LOVE story. You really learn what TRUE LOVE is when you finish watching this movie. I never tire of it, and have watched it over and over. It is uplifting. Guarantee you will shed at least one tear at the end - it is so moving. Everyone should own a copy of this movie.(P.S. Don't forget to buy the Soundtrack - it is so beautiful to listen to!!! You'll love it too!!)

Review: This movie is sooooo romantic!!!!!! Kate Winslet did a GREAT job and should have definitely won an oscar for her work; she wasn't as great in Titanic. Emma Thompson was wonderful as usual, and Hugh Grant and Alan Rickman gave superb performances!! Love it, love it, love it!!!! Watch it; you will love it! Now, my sister hates it, but that's cause she's weird. (No offense, sis).

Review: The more I watch S&S, the more I love it! Even though I know what's coming, it's still exciting to see again! I think Emma Thompson did a fabulous job capturing the "heart" of the novel by Jane Austin. Very charming, and classy. The Dashwood sisters come to life with Thompson and Winslet. Grant is the perfect picture of Edward Ferrars! Each of those in the film are given so much character, you can't help but love them, or love to hate them! I highly recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys character and personality in a movie!

Review: At first, the idea of watching a Jane Austen novel-turned-movie was rather intimidating for me. I thought, "Yeah, it'll be slow and on the boring side." I have to say that if you're a romantic to any degree, you need to see this movie. It's more than a love story; it's a true work of art. The cinematography is spectacular, and the character development is fabulous. Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet contribute so much to this film. You'll be caught up in the story, and you'll forget that it was written well over a century ago. It's timeless...a definite must-see.

Review: The mere fact that this was a movie based on a Jane Austen novel turned me off to this video initially. But, being the true romantic that I am, curiosity got the better of me. If you're hesitant to watch this movie solely because it's an "old" story, I suggest you go ahead and take the plunge. The cinematography is gorgeous, and the character development is sensational. I was sincerely impressed by the actors' performances; Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet were fabulous. You won't be disappointed if you take the time to view this wonderful film.

Review: I have long been a fan of Jane Austen's work but have found that many of the films made that were adapted from her novels were not as quality as I would have expected them. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Sense and Sensibility was not typical of the other films. Emma Thompson did an excellent job of writing the screenplay and playing in the movie. This is a classic romance story that will give you the sensation of falling in love over and over again each time you watch it. The film is timeless, the acting superb, and the story unforgettable.
