Summary: BEST MOVIE EVER!!
Review: I have seen A Walk To Remember twice, with two different people who have two different personalities. They both loved this movie beyond words- as i did.... It was touching, inspiring, and just all around great! Mandy Moore and Shane West were both excellent! I myself had read the book, and they brought the characters to life. If you haven't seen it, I urge you to, you won't be sorry.

Summary: As good as the book
Review: Although the book and this movie have many differences the basic plot is the same. Mandy Moore and Shane West were awesome (especially Shane ;). The movie has a really wonderful ending to which I cried. For the guys who think they won't like it let me just say that when I saw it I know that there were several guys in the theater crying cause they were right in front of me. My friends and I thought this was a really good movie, one of the bests we've seen in a while. I recommend that everybody go see this. I'm not going to say how it ends because that would spoil the movie but the love story is wonderful.

Summary: Mandy Moore and Shane West are awesome in this movie!
Review: This movie was so good! It is alot like the movie Here On Earth but it is told better and just all around a better story and cast in my opinion. Mandy Moore is such a great actress in this movie, and a great singer too. Shane West is awesome in this movie too. This is a really sad movie and will touch your heart.

Summary: The best movie I have ever seen!
Review: I like this movie sooo much that I have seen it 4 times. For once a movie that shows a couple who has love and respect for each other and isn't full of sex.

Summary: It's about time
Review: It's about time their was a movie that stuck to some morals and/or principles. For this simple fact, I have recommended it to all my friends. It was great to see a movie made that didn't feel the need for sex or excessive foul language. I can only recall one foul word used in the whole movie. And it was tastefully done. Since it was such a clean cut movie, I can't really see it being PG. In short, it's a must see movie. I can't wait for it to come out on VHS/DVD. I'm prepared to pre-order if I can find a site to do that.

Summary: Great job Mandy and Shane
Review: I was sceptical at first because Many Moore is a pop singer, but I was truly impressed by her performance as Jamie. Shane West is as fine as he is a great young actor. I loved the movie it was emotional and engaging. Thanks for the experience.

Summary: Language Warning!
Review: All of you parents and church group leaders who are expecting a squeaky clean movie because of the PG rating, beware! The movie opens with a drunken teenage boy crowing loudly about the need to urinate and then we watch him unzip and do his business. Throughout the movie, variations of the word s**t are peppered into the dialog.

I had my 11-year-old daughter and a friend who was a year older with me and both of the girls visibly squirmed with the bold beginning and salty language. A PG-13 would've been far more appropriate.

If you can get past that, you'll find a film as predictable as pimples, geared for the easily-manipulated teenage audience.

The mystery to me is why this movie was kept in the can for six years after filming (check out the date on inspection stickers on various cars used in the movie). That often signals a real turkey and, while this one gobbled some at times, it usually just clucked along in a non-surprising way.

There's little to really dislike in the film. The acting ranges from passable to good, the settings are evocative and lush, and the story is one that rewards those who believe. Don't go if you're over 18 unless you're a total sucker for tear-jerkers. If you're a parent of a pre- or young teen, go with them if they can handle the language, then discuss the lessons learned after the film. It can be a rewarding experience.

Summary: One of my favorite movies of all time
Review: I will preface this by pointing out that my favorite movie of all time is "Love Story" - another story of an unlikely couple who finds love, overcomes the odds and then she dies of leukemia. Another movie came out a few years ago with a similar plot, called "Here on Earth", which I thought was just awful. I went into this movie a little skeptical, but kept in mind that Nicholas Sparks is a great writer (although I hadn't read this book yet). I smiled, I cried...it was such a wonderful movie. I haven't seen a story that moved me this much in ages (and yes, Shane West IS gorgeous!) Would recommend it to anyone who is a romantic and enjoys a good cry.
