Summary: Very Very good movie!
Review: The best movie i've seen in years. The movie was very sweet and touching. I cried when i've seen it, for the 20th time!!!
Mandy moore's acting was really really professional. Shane west's acting was also really professional. This isn't like any other teen movie. It's just a sweet love story. I'd recommend this movie to anyone who is romantic and enjoys sad and happy movies at the same time!

Summary: A Walk to Forget
Review: Let see how this movie goes. One guy for some reason jumps of the tower to the water and breaks his leg. That is the end of this plot. Next plot, there is a girl who walks around in one sweater. Another guy falls in love with her. His father is a doctor. The girl is poor. Then the girl got sick with leukemia. Doesn't that sound like reincarnation of the "Love Story" with Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal? Yes, it is, but a very bad one. This movie is just horrible. Don't waste your time on it.

Summary: A Very Unusual Film
Review: A very unusual film. The script has the potential to be ridiculously sappy or a romantic hit.....Moore & Co. make it fall in between on this one. The film teeters on the brink of collapsing in its' own cliches, then redeems itself time and time again. The strongest part of the script is the final 10% or so when the death in handled with remarkable finesse and care is taken to provide futures (4 years worth) for the primary characters.

This is a good romantic film with its moments. As long as you approach it with an open mind, it can be an enjoyable experience.

Summary: Take a walk down memory laine.
Review: "A Walk To Remember" is so much more than just your average teen flick. It is a film based on the bestselling book by Nicholas Sparks, and is about two very different teenagers who unexpectedly fall in love. Landon Carter (Shane West) is your typical "bad-boy-next-door". He's popular and has a lot of friends. But when he gets into trouble one too many times, Landon's high school principal makes him participate in the school play and help tutor children with learning disabilities on the weekends. On the other hand, Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore) is the sweet, kind, religious girl who lives with her widowed minster father and is always being made fun of by her classmates. Landon and Jamie had known each other all their lives, but Landon doesn't expect to fall in love with her during the school play's opening night. It takes a little while, but their love soon begins to blossom. As Landon is starting to learn about love, life, and himself, Jamie confesses a secret she's been keeping from him that might destroy their relationship forever.

The film was simply moving and touching. West and Moore have amazing on-screen chemistry and their talents really shine. The supporting cast was also excellent. There is a wonderful storyline and smart dialouge. Hardly any violence, very mild language, and no sex makes this viewable to basically all ages. The DVD is all right, but it could have add a few more extras. It only includes 2 commentaries (one by the director, and one by West and Moore) and Mandy Moore's music video, "Cry". The DVD is available in widescreen format. I gave this film a score of 98 out of 100 points because it didn't follow the book as well as it could have, but it was just a really beautiful movie anyway.

I highly recommend "A Walk To Remember".

Summary: One of the best movies!
Review: I was a bit cynical to watch this movie, but when I put it into the player, I was pulled in. It was one of the seldom movies I have watched that has made me cry within the first half hour. The story is very touching, and Mandy Moore did a beautiful job, as well as Shane West. I rented it twice before I bought it. I am not really into movies where Christianity is introduced, but I really didn't seem to mind with this movie. There is no sex, some very mild violence, and some language.

Summary: Great Movie, Much Better than I thought
Review: I heard about how well this movie did at the Box Office, and after seeing on DVD about a week ago, I have to say I was really impressed with this movie.

It wasn't a teen movie disaster as was "Crossroads" with Britney Spears, but it definitely didn't disappoint. Mandy Moore and Shane West both were excellent in this film and helped make it stand out among the other cliche films in the genre.

Summary: one of the best movies ever.
Review: I seriously love this movie. The story is so sweet and interesting, I enjoyed every moment. Shane West is talented and HOT as well. I gave it 4 stars because Mandy Moore's acting was kind of bad, I wouldn't say she's a good actress. But overall- i'd recommend it to anyone! be sure to get the book as well, which is hella better then the movie!

Summary: "Not just another teen movie"
Review: _A Walk to Remember_ is definitely not the ordinary teen chick flick. Yes, it does have its corny areas, but overall the movie offers so much more to be learned. Instead of just the typical high school love story, _A Walk to Remember_ shows the commitment of real love as well as the values of a girl who is very much unwilling to budge in the face of peer pressure. The movie in general is extremely appealing to the heart---not only because of the love story but also because of Jaime's battle with leukemia and Landon's continual love for her even during the most difficult times of her life. In a society ravaged by divorce and selfish love, people long to see a lasting relationship based on selfless, forgiving love that endures throughout the good and the bad times in life. _A Walk to Remember_ also emphasizes the importance of not giving in to those around you, but instead to stand strong on what you believe, just as Jaime did. As a result she was able to change a cocky, self-absorbed boy into a tender, loving man who would give anything just to be with her. The producers of this movie did an excellent job tying these areas in to create one of the most amazing love stories of all time.

Summary: only watch if you like cheese!
Review: ok I know this is a teen dating movie but are the script writers completely off the deep end?

I mean the relationship development was instant. One day he totally ignores her then the next take professes his love?

Psycho? I think so... more on that later.

how many times in other movies have you seen the same scenes? "I can't dance..."

And naming a star after her? it takes years, years, to find an unnamed star! geez, earth callin wonderful happy bfriend!!

Oh and he makes this telescope from scratch so she can see a "star". And this is the kid who's own mother doubts whether or not he'll be in college?

If you look at that scene, you'll also notice that she bumps the telescope. A bump like that with that size telescope, say good by to precious star.

He does something that no 18 year old in his right mind would do. All to make her happy. I mean common'. I know it's a movie and all but ya gotta be kiddin me.

I mean if the girl's wish were to see a living dinosaur, I think the script writers would have thrown in a jurassic park in there.

Oh and the estranged father buys his sons love! Can't believe that!

And the list goes on and on..

Total loss of reality. The occasional teen flick is fine, but this one totally looses itself, reality, and interest.
