Summary: All right...
Review: Not a bad story. Pretty slow and dull in the beginning. The movie finally got somewhere after the death of a brother. Beautifully done made movie on the lands of Montana. Enjoyed the acting. Strange plot with details, kindy mismatch. Good points during the film. Overall, it is a fair film. Brad Pitt gives an B rate of his acting skills. He does a good job, even for a young career at that point.

Review: Just saw this movie again after a few years.
Have to admit, it was pretty good. Beautiful
scenery, decent storyline, very watchable.
Julia Ormond is absolutely stunning in this. She
has to be the most beautiful woman on the screen.
Just mesmerizing. Brad Pitt is pretty cool in this
as well. Good casting.
Overall, entertaining movie.

Review: OMG-This movie is awesome! I could watch it over and over and over again. Brad Pitt is (as usual) hot and also a great actor in this family tragedy. Julia Ormond is absolutely beautiful and precious. Also a great actress who demonstrates her ability to love to the greatest depth. Anthony Hopkins is also great as the father (SCREW 'EM!). All in all a great movie...I highly recommend!

Summary: A 1994 sample of Movie cheese.
Review: This movie quickly degenerates into a really bad acted and bad scripted love story. A lot of the performances fall by the way side within the first hour of the movie and one must wonder how Anthony Hopkins, a useually very good actor, agreed to star in this movie, alongside so many Hollywood heart throbs who have shown time and again that they can not act.

Summary: "The way a movie should be made" EPIC
Review: Brad Pitt sums it up best in the DVD edition of Legends of the Fall. It's the way a movie should be made, and it was made superbly. Set in Montana and thereabouts, Legends is about a family on the verge of WW1, who are very passionate and genuine, living in a seemingly distant far away world, somewhere in the vast country, in an era of discontent, because of wars, and rumors of wars. The musical score by James Horner really captures the whole surrounding and emotion that Legends brings. I'm sure many others have gotten the plot down.
( Originally a novella by Jim Harrison.)
So I will talk about the DVD. The DVD is a great buy, I just purchased it the other day. For the money, it is worth it, though I was a little disappointed at the length of the Featruette.

*Theatrical trailers & Talent Files

Summary: Breathtaking
Review: It'll pull your guts out and hand them to you, then leave you with a profound tragic melancholy. Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins are great, though it's certainly not Pitt's best performance, in my opinion.

Summary: One of the most bittersweet love stories I have seen
Review: This movie is a wonderful love story. I own this movie and it makes me cry everytime I watch it. There are so many touching moments. So many things are taken for granted in life and disappear before anyone can appreciate them, and this movie shows us how quickly things pass us by. Brad Pitt is a wonderful actor as well as an extremely attractive man, which makes this movie a real winner in my book :)
