Review: Angelic...That is how I would describe it.Both the movie and her.Although I became a fan after I heard her in English,after the movie,I loved her like a true fan from the beginning.It was so tragic and horrible what happened but the movie is such a wonderful tribute.To her and her love for her fans and for her music. She will always be remembered.Jennifer Lopez,you are fantastic!

Review: Before seeing this movie I had no earthly idea who Selena was.Now I am glad to have found out about her. Selena was a super-talent on the rise with her cross-over music.It is such a shame that her life was taken from her so early and tragically. Jennifer Lopez does an excellent portrayal of the very beautiful Selena.The similarities are uncanny.I have been a long-time fan of Jennifer Lopez since her days on "Living Color".She also is a super-talent when it comes to singing.The casting director could not have found a better person to embody the passion and zest for life that Selena enjoyed on her very brief stay on earth.If you haven't seen "Selena" then you have missed a musical treat.You don't own a video library without"Selena" being a part of it."I'll be dreaming of you tonight"

Review: I think the movie was the greatest in the world. Jennifer Lopez played the part very well!(I am also a HUGE fan f Jennifer Lopez...she's awsome.) I would like to say, that anyone who disagrees, and says this movie is boreing, or dumb, can talk to me, because your wrong.This movie portrays a Singer, a beautiful,sexy,very talented,greatful, inspiring,loveing,young women. She was always greatful to her fans. AS she said at the Grammy's"Without you, we'd be nothing,thank you!" Wellp, thats all, all I have to say is, if you haven't seen it, go rent it! I cried, and I cry everytime I see it! Keep her memory alive!

Summary: A totally great and entertaining film
Review: I loved this movie! I see it over and over again with my friends. I love Selena sooo much! I wasn't a fan of Selena until last year and now, I'm her #1 fan! I still cry at the end of this movie. I get so angry at Yolanda for killing Selena. I wish that I could have seen her in concert.

Review: If the biggest event in someone's life was a relationship their dad didn't approve of, it's probably not a great idea to make a biopic of their life. "Selena" illustrates that fact. Selena Q-P had an exciting life for someone who was only 24, but not exciting enough to make her life story into an interesting movie. I was a minor fan of Selena at the time of her murder, and I'm a big fan of Jennifer Lopez, but I still thought this movie was awful. I'm a little baffled by the average rating it's gotten (five stars?!?) -- I think that may have more to do with the subject of the movie (and her tragic fate) than the quality of the movie. The movie has almost nothing to offer -- portrayals of a flawless Selena walking around carnivals and the San Antonio riverwalk accompanied by some of the corniest dialogue I've ever heard result in a very boring movie. Jon Seda was probably not the best choice to play Chris Perez, either. The chemistry between Lopez and Seda was non-existent. The stage scenes were good (although the editing was horrible) as were the scenes at the Astrodome (which were actually filmed in San Antonio), but aside from that it was about as entertaining as watching the grass grow. If you want to know more about Selena, listen to her music and check out the web sites dedicated to her. If you're a fan of Jennifer Lopez, "Out of Sight" is a much better bet than "Selena."

Review: Selena is a good movie because of the drama and comedy all put together and the cast makes it even better because you can tell that they put alot of hard work and effort. also, i enjoyed trying to figure out who killed Selena before I found out and according to me the movie Selena is a terrific movie for people who like to cry. Selena is a movie that can also teach young children different lessons.

Review: I just need to say one thing: I didn't know Selena before watching this movie, and now I'm her #1 fan in Brazil. The movie is so beautiful, and that's a pleasure to watch Selena's life, and the way until the success, how she won the challenges. Unfortunately, she's no more among us, but her memory remains. Selena, wherever you are, know that I love you and your music, and that we miss you a lot.
