Summary: I expected schlock, sugar and smaltz, not so! I LOVED IT!
Review: What a pleasant surprise this movie was! I avoided seeing it for awhile because of so many negative or so-so reviews I'd read and also because a friend told me the book was "sentimental and corny". But the movie was very believable and I can't help thinking that the only people who could fail to be moved by it would have to be hard-core cynics. Haley Joel Osmont proves his acting chops yet again (after his acclaimed his role in Sixth Sense), playing a middle-school student named Trevor who has a troubled home life, an alcoholic mother and an erratic, wayward father. When his new teacher, played by the superb Kevin Spacey, gives an imaginative class assignment, daring the students to "change the world" Trevor takes his homework to a new extreme, changing not only his life but that of his teacher. While parts of this movie do challenge the viewer's ability to suspend belief and seem somewhat unreal, it is a rare treat to see such a trio of talented actors come together for such a worthy idea. Don't be surprised to find yourself reaching for the tissues while watching this movie. I came to it with negative preconceptions and reluctance and was surprisingly moved and heartened by watching it. This is one I plan to buy and add to my permanent collection, worth seeing again and again.

Review: This is a movie everyone has to see!! Great acting by Helen Hunt, Kevin Spacey and Haley Joel Osment. Pay It Foward is one of the best movies I've seen since the last ten years. Good Plot, Good Story and Sad ending. While i as watching this movie I laughed and of course got a little wind in my eyes as It got closer to the ending. Pay It Foward is a movie about a 12 year old boy who gets a social studies project to come up with one idea that can change the world forever. Of course since the teacher doesn't think this project could actually make a difference in the world Haley Joel Osment does just that.... I'm not going to say more except that this movie is NOT a rental it's a SALE, defenetly buy this movie, you won't be dissapointed!!!!

Summary: Heartbraking...
Review: It's heartbraking to give it 3 stars...but there you have it."Pay It Forward"...a movie that inspires us to do the unthinkable for the world works on the premise that the world can be made over if we forward good deeds onward. Despite Osment's stellar performance, Spacey's bitterness, and Hunt's portrayal of a woman trapped in an abusive relationship, it just doesn't chalk up to a story that I like. Because everyone wins...sort of. Helen breaks her abusive relationship and Spacey gets over himself. Osment tragically dies. How about the REAL world: Helen's relationship spirals out of control, Spacey never reconciles his "differences" with the world, and Osment continues to dream unrequited wishes. I hate to say it and I know it sounds cynical, but that's what I find happening more often than not. Wonderful tearjerker...but let's wake up to the realities of life, everyone.

Review: Manipulative, New Agey movie. A junior-high kid (Haley Joel Osment) has a homework assignment for social studies class: think of something to change the world, and try to put it into action. That's a snap! Osment does three very big favors to three different people . . . with the caveat that each of them must "pay it forward"; i.e., do three very big favors to three different people. And so on, and so on. . . . Not to my taste. Nor should it be to yours, if you have any taste yourself. The movie's ending, while attempting to jerk tears, merely raises incredulousness.

Review: What an amazing movie. Any criticism of this movie is unwarranted as it was so amazing and warm and heartfelt, that it deserved nothing but praise. All three leads were phenomenal, especially Hunt, and the end is anything but weak - it is stirring and serves to show just how far the notion of 'Pay it forward' has stretched. Congratulations to everyone involved in this spectacular movie, which, I think, was robbed of a good many Oscar nominations.

Review: I think it forward was a good movie cuase it was moral and had a good point. So many movies out there today are junky and not something you want to show friends and family,but this is one that most everyone will like. It is not a glorified perfect movie there are some hard sciences and my not be best for very young children.

Review: This movie was one of the most endearing and emotional movies I have seen in a long time. The wonderful touching scenes of Kevin Spacey and Haley Joel Osment can never be overlooked. I advise everyone to drop what they are doing and rush out to get this one. You will not be sorry at all.

Summary: A must buy for everyone!
Review: A very powerful film brilliantly acted. From the very beginning, Kevin Spacey's montague captures you and for the next 2 hours the film doesn't let go. What begins as a Social Studies assignment becomes a theme for life. For Tevor, [Haley Joel Osment] it's his pyramid for humanity. He suggests each person should do a good deed for 3 people and in turn, they each have to do a good deed for three others, and so on. If only in reality we could accomplish this. Everyone should see this film and practice its' message. I strongly recommend investing in this film. Take it home and watch it with a full house and then pass on its message. Who knows, maybe fiction might become reality. Pay it Forward just might be the film to do it. A side note; although they tried, not even all the makeup in Hollywood can make Helen Hunt unattractive! She just might be the most beautiful recovering-alcoholic in Hollywood, or anywhere else!

Review: when you wonder if there is any good in the world left, this movie will put a little hope into your day. Even though it is fiction, someone thought of this beautiful theme and it is one overdue. You don't want to miss this one and i hope it touches your heart as much it did mine.

Summary: I love this movie !!
Review: They are all my favorite actors. I love all the films they had done before. This is one of the most remarkable movies I had seen. Although the ending seems to be a little bit ... easy to guess, but I like the way director interpret his thoughts. P.S. You can immediately recognize the music from Thomas Newman. Same style as American Beauty, Erin¡K¡K Etc.
