Summary: An amazing story told with breathtaking performances
Review: This was the most powerful film I have ever seen. It tells an unbiassed story of hate in the world today. It changed the way I look at Society. Simply outstanding.

Summary: A must-see for everyone!!!
Review: This movie was absolutely incredible. Never before have I left a theatre so speechless and disturbed. Everyone should see this amazing and thought provoking film. The content as well as the acting was unparalled. Edward Norton has proved himself to be one the best actors there is. Edward Furlong was quite amazing as well. If you rent any movie in the next while make sure this is the first on your list!!

Summary: Powerful, Well-acted... Norton is amazing.
Review: Neandethal and intelligent. Acute and obtuse. This heart-wrenchingly brutal tragedy will keep you glued to your side of the popcorn bowl. Be prepared to be sickeningly disgusted and deeply touched. Congrats to Norton! As well as, Furlong and " that guy from ' Spencer For Hire'" ."Hawk", I think. Anyway, a quality must-see for the open-minded.

Summary: Almost an "Alan Smithee" film, but still enthralling.
Review: Director Tony Kaye fought unsuccessfully to have his name removed from the film (and replaced with the DGA's "Alan Smithee") due to his anger and dissatisfaction over the studio's re-cut of the movie before its release. I enjoyed the film a great deal, and Ed Norton could well prove to be the next Robert DeNiro. Such a commanding performance! (I met Norton in Memphis in 1996 during the filming of "The People Vs. Larry Flynt", and he was as polite and personable as one would hope him to be). A surprising (though certainly deserved) Oscar nomination for Norton will hopefully bring more attention to this film. But I wonder how different the film would have been if Tony Kaye had been allowed to release his original version/vision? "....X" is good but not great, but still serves as an excellent reminder that Man is indeed the most dangerous animal. It is frightening not because of the violence depicted, nor its violence-begets-violence subtheme, but because it shows a very real side of America -- how ignorance and fear breed violence and hate. This movie should be required viewing, but I'd still like to see Kaye's version. His version (and its message) may be even more intense than the studio-released version.

Summary: Edward Norton is AWESOME.
Review: Edward Norton has demonstrated he is one of the hottest "young" actors the movie industry has. After I watched the movie, I felt as if I had an emotional hangover from Noron's performance. I'm no Ebert, but see this movie for Norton's performance alone!

Summary: Good but expected more
Review: After seeing the trailers for this film, and reading some of the reviews I was expecting great things. Unfortunately I was ultimately dissapointed. While undoubtably a good film it reminded me of those "made for TV" efforts in its style, plot development and ultimate conclusion, and at the end telling the viewer the moral message. That really sumed up my feeling on it. It was too blatent, and too obvious spelling things out rather than leaving the viewer to make up their own mind . Despite this it does have some merits, and Edward Norton is excellent in the main role.

Summary: Best movie of the year!!
Review: Very rarely do I leave a movie theatre thesedays and say to myself "WOW". I did with this movie. Edward Norton is proving himself to be one of the great character actors of the 90's. With the Sean Connery's and Anthony Hopkin's getting older, it is nice to have someone like Norton to look forward to in the future. A must see!!

Summary: Saw it Twice
Review: Thought provoking. Some of the best acting I've ever seen. Edward Norton is the hottest young actor out there. He should win the Oscar hands down. Probably the best movie I've ever seen.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great!!!!! A must see!
