Review: Steel Magnolias touches my heart every time I see it. The people in it, Julia Roberts, Sally Feild, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, ect. are wonderful. This movie is great and if you have'nt seen it your are missing out. If you are in need and sad and lonely, watch this movie and it will bring tears to your eyes and make you feel better. I wish they made more movies like this in the present. Wonderful!

Review: Great show girls ! I really like Shirley, who played Miss Ouiser. Miss Ouiser has bite, and I have taken upon that attitude ever since the movie came out. My favorite saying of Miss Ouiser "Yes Annelle, I do pray, but don't expect me to go to one of those tent revivals".

Review: What a good mixture there is in this fine movie. All share all the feelings, except sex. Why even men go through this as well. It's not just a womens thing, but by all. I laughed, I cried, I felt what all the main folk presented in the movie. Light the fire and watch Steal Magnolias.

Review: Shirley MacLaine. Olympia Dukakis. Sally Field. Dolly Parton. Daryl Hannah. Julia Roberts. All 6 excellent reasons to watch this film. Aside from the storyline being good, the chemistry between these women are so extraordinary you keep asking yourself why it took so long to get them all together. You might also be surprised at who plays Julia Roberts' husband. I love this film "more than my luggage"!

If there was a movie that was rated on a scale of perfection, Steel Magnolias would surpass all others. This is without a doubt one of my most treasured movies. Whether I'm in the mood for a comedy, drama, or tear-jerker, Steel Magnolias meets all those needs. Julia Roberts is phenomenal as a young fresh spirited woman and Sally Field as her overprotective good-intended mother. The closeness of the group of friends warms my heart.
