Summary: incredibly beautiful
Review: This movie is easily my most favorite movie of all time. I seriously don't think I'll ever get sick of it. Critics hated it because it was sappy, romantic, and unapologetically "preachy", which is precisely the reason I love it. A Walk to Remember is a simple love story between two high school seniors: the typical popular, in-crowd guy and the quiet, plain, Christian outcast. No, there's no supermodel makeover and no prom-night showdown, because it's not your average hokey teen flick. It's a beautiful, inspiring chronicle of true, pure love that "is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes."

No, it's not exactly like the book. Sparks' love stories are simple and melancholy, but Hollywood always tries to make stuff bigger, better, flashier, etc. They did so to some extent with A Walk to Remember, but you kind of have to look at the movie on its own. I doubt that any movie could entirely capture the joy and anguish that a book can, but this one is nevertheless achingly wonderful. I don't even have the words to say how I felt about it...I just love it.

Summary: BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!! Can't get any better than this!!
Review: Well written, and nicely thought over! The actors and actresses were great, and the story actually taught you something which is very hard to find these days.... Besides being really sad, it makes you happy to think there are actually directors who actually still think of something besides killing people and junk. SEE THIS MOVIE AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

Summary: very very good..
Review: I saw this movie recently and i have to say that i was surprised at how great it was. I wasn't to sure about how good Mandy Moore's performance as an actress would be but after seeing it I have to say she exceeded all my expectations. Her performance along with Shane West was wonderful and worth good recognition. The movie overall was great and many along with myself left the theater with tears in their eyes. It teaches great lessons about living life and of true love. It shows how people can change when they meet someone and how someone you never thought would appeal to you just might be the one you fall for. "A Walk To Remember" is a movie I definently recommend to anyone looking for a touching story that is well worth their money.

Summary: something about seeing a guy cry
Review: this movie totally had me wrapped up the whole time. and like the title says, there's just something about seeing a guy cry. i watched it at a staff showing, and everyone of us were bawling at that part. and surprisingly, mandy moore is a really great actress. i definately have a new found respect for her and her music.. the song only hope is amazing, and the play scene is extremely touching. overall... a great movie, but bring a box of kleenex.

Summary: such a sweet movie!!!!!!
Review: At first when i decided to see this movie, i had no idea the movie was going to turn out so great! i thought this movie was probably going to be good, but not as great as the results were after i saw the movie! i hafta say, "A walk to remember" is one of the best movies i've EVER seen. This movie has compassion, and it gives an idea to people how love should really be. Shane West is a very great actor throughout the movie, so sweet, so sincere, and one of a kind. (sooo HOT too!) Mandy Moore also did a great job pursuing her character! The bottom line is, if you haven't seen this movie yet...please take my advice and go see it...you won't regret it! it's one of those movies where you see it once, and you want to see it again....8-)

Summary: Changed my perspective on life...
Review: This movie is the best movie I have ever seen. Not only did it make me beleive it changed my perspective on school, true friends, love, and life. Mandy Moore portrays Jamie Sullivan so very well. Jamie doesn't fit in anywhere at school, and she certainly never thought she'd fall in love with a person totally opposite of her. Not only was she a miracle for Landon (Shane West), he was a miracle for her. She changed him forever, and he loved her for who she was deep down. A very sad movie that made me cry. The soundtrack and novel are must haves to occompany owning this amazing film. A story of love and miracles. A wonderful story, absolutely amazing, so amazing I'm going to see it again in theaters, probably every weekend it's in theaters. This movie is the best, and I reccomend it to people of all ages.

Summary: Excellent film!!!!
Review: This movie is excellent. It definantly gets five stars. The acting is amazing, considering the roles that Mandy Moore has done before (think Princess Diaries). The storyline is awesome. I was disappointed to see it end. At first, when I saw the commercials, I thought it would be a rental movie, not worth the cost to see it in the theatre. But I went to see it for lack of anything better to see and now it's my favourite movie!!! The commercials don't do any justice for the movie, if you're looking for an awesome chick-flick to go see then choose this one. Just don't forget the kleenex.

Summary: A Teen Love Story To Remember---Perfect for All Ages
Review: Having read the Nicholas Sparks novel nearly two years ago, I was anxiously looking forward to seeing how the wonderful book transferred to the big screen. I was happy that the sweetness and sincerity of first love, true love made the transition with all the warmth and sincerity it deserved. Shane West, whom you may know from TV's "Once and Again," and teen singing sensation Mandy Moore play the young lovers with a sincerity that is not only appealing but refreshing in this era of raunchy and raw teen films.

I was a bit uncomfortable the first ten minutes as I thought the movie was heading down the usual teen movie path, but my fears were quickly dispelled when popular boy Landon Carter was punished for his part in a prank that left a fellow student paralyzed and ordered by the principal to join the drama club in order to meet some new people. Jamie Sullivan, the school outcast and laughing stock, is one of the people he meets. He joins his crowd in poking fun of her, but soon comes to value her friendship and admires the way she is self-confident about who she is and what she wants. With so many teen movies focused on sex, it is refreshing to see these two teens build a relationship based on mutual respect and values.

Alas, the course of true love is never smooth and, without spoiling the ending for you, I will tell you that I found myself crying unashamedly as the movie drew to a close. Shyly, I glanced around me and noticed everyone from teens to grandmas openly weeping. "A Walk to Remember" is a nice, comforting film that I highly recommend for everyone who loves a love story and remembers what it was like to fall in love for the first time.

I couldn't help but want to cry for the last 20 minutes...great flick PLEASE check it out! I haven't read the book yet, but I definitely think I will after seeing this great movie!
