Summary: Not so greata
Review: The recording quality was bad and the acting wasn't too good, they left out a whole bunch of important things and they even left out a lot of important characters. I thought it was bad and it didn't even seem like that uch of the same story. I guess it could have been a summary of the novel but not the movie of the novel.

Summary: Excellent, heart-warming, inspirational movie. The best!
Review: This movie is my favorite movie of all time. The characters are perfectly played, and the story is great. The plot is one that makes you think, as well as love each one of the characters (except for Ewell). This is a classic movie, and I suggest that everyone sees it. Usually, the book is better than the movie. In this case, the movie was better. Mary Badham and Gregory Peck are spectacular, even though Peck is great in all of his movies. His presence in To Kill a Mockingbird, however, is one that takes up the entire movie. He has this commanding feel to his character. Mary Badham is PERFECT as Scout, she's so cute and fits the part...definetly. This movie is the best dramatic film ever produced.

Summary: Nice, but left out too much.
Review: I am a 14-year old student of Laguna HillsHigh School. For Honors English we were assigned to read this book, and I've seen and read the book twice, once this year, once in 6th grade. I have this to say.

The book is truly inspirational, but the movie is a huge let down. Gregory Peck played a manificant role and should star in a new remake. But the movie overall was a dissapointment. The Church Scene with Calpurnia, Mrs. Maudie, and Aunt Alexandria were all neglected or ignored. All of these things, I feel, are major scenes. Personally I believe the movie should be remade into a 3 hour long color movie, maybe longer, as to get in all the good parts of this wonderful book. I believe it would be one of the few long movies I could actually sit through, if they did it correctly. The current movie, however, is sadly a let down.

Summary: A Classic
Review: I have seen the movie a bunch of times. I thought it captured the mood of a small, Southern town perfectly. Harper Lee, the author, based the character of Dill on her real-life childhood chum, Truman Capote. So the geekiness of Dill made perfect sense. This movie always takes me back to moments in my own childhood when all you had to do on a summer day was wake up, get dressed, eat breakfast, and then decide how you and your friends will spend the day. I only wish I could have had a Daddy like Atticus Finch. What a wonderful role model he was for his children.

Summary: a great movie
Review: i think that To Kill A Mockingbird is one of the best movies ever made, it has it all. A great story line, a great actor(Gregory Peck) and it tells alot about the real nature of human beings. If there is one classic movie that you want to rent than rent To KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. Thank you very much for your time.

Summary: Best Classic Movie
Review: Now; I don't like classic movies, but "To Kill A Mokingbird" is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The way it is, there will be no other like it ever. The actors are also excellent, especially Gregory Peck.

Summary: A "Once in a lifetime movie"
Review: There will never be another movie like it, whether that be because of the world we live in now and that movies are judged upon how much money they make the studio and not really on content. "To kill a mockingbird" would probably flop if released today, no violence, no nudity, just a beautifully told story. Everything about this classic is unsurpassed including direction and stunning acting, see this movie just for the amazing Gregory Pecks perfomance if nothing else. It's hard to believe that the children in this movie were just that, children. The acting shown by young "Scout Finch" throughout this movie is of Oscar calabre. A movie like this does only come along once in a lifetime.

Summary: The absolute best
Review: this is a true classic, something everyone should watch. the movie (and indeed the book) are quite old but it is amazing how relevant each and every word, idea and underlying thought is in today's world.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Classic Film; one of the best of all-time.
Review: This is truly an American classic. While the book goes more in depth, Gregory Peck portrays Atticus Finch like none other. Racism and class-distinction are two of the many themes that are portrayed, and while the movie is in black and white, it is truly a movie that will be good 1000 years down the road.

Summary: a heartbreaking tearjerker
Review: when i read the book, i decided to do my bookreport on it and my review was longer than my paragraph summarizing the book, and i feel the same way about the movie. It's a story about life, the good times which can be simple, the hard times and tragedies which comlicate things. it's more so though, the story aboout a widowed southern lawyer, whose unlimited love for his children maks him a hero, and whose debotion to his work makes him noble. the tragic part is that he, and his good children are forced to suffer tragidies that might not hit ordinary people. you will cry.
