Review: This is the perfect date movie. Angela plays this part as if she has lived it. It moved me to see two people who basically have nothing in common but their love for each other overcome obstacles to be together. The scenary in this movie will simply blow you away along with the soundtrack.I could see this movie with 10 dates and still feel refreshed like the first time. Get it, you will not be sorry!!

You will feel the need to let it all out! The shower scene is to die for! Married, single or in between, don't be surprised if you want to drop everything and fly to Jamaica when you're done! Review: I was really disappointed with this movie. The screen play was awful, but the acting saved it from being a total waste of time. Angela Basset and Taye Diggs act very well in this sexy movie. However, it just does'nt cut it in the end.

Review: How Stella Got Her Groove Back has to be one of the 10 best movies that I have ever seen. I can't remember the last movie to make me laugh as much as this one. It makes you feel good from end to end. It is also one of the few movies in recent times to show Black Americans in a positive light. Not since Waiting to Exhale or Soul Food can I remember a movie doing that. Angela Bassett and Whoopie Goldberg were outstanding and both women brought so much depth to thier characters.

Review: After seeing the movie adaptation of "Waiting to Exhale", and being totally disappointed, I was extremely skeptical of the movie version of "Stella". However, I was pleasantly surprised. Angela Bassett, who is an extremely talented actress, shined brightly and brought the role of Stella to life. Kudos to Whoopi Goldberg! Unfortunately, Taye Diggs didn't quite foot the bill. Albeit, Regina King is blossoming into a seasoned actress. There is a twist to the plot that will please the readers of the novel. This is a great movie and you will definitely want to see it again.
