Summary: An interesting wreck of a movie.
Review: "Poetic Justice" is a total mess of a movie, but it's a rather fascinating, intriguing mess. Unfortunately, this lackluster film would set the tone for the rest of John Singleton's career; he hasn't done a film worth our while since "Boyz N the Hood." 2 girls and 2 guys go on a road trip during which they bicker, fight, and squabble using long streaks of profanity at each other. (For the record, this has got to be one of the most profanity-laced films I've ever seen) Janet Jackson more or less does a competent job with her performance, and Tupac stands out as well, but the real deal is Regina King, who sparkles and adds sass in every scene she's in. Her scene during which she curses out her sexually impotent boyfriend is a real-eye opener. Otherwise, this movie lacks focus and a reason to care for the characters and their predictaments. It seemed like Singleton just filmed a random collection of great scenes and one-liners and left it at that. So my verdict is this: see it for Regina King. Otherwise, this film is almost completely negligible.

Summary: This is a great film!
Review: Poetic Justice is about a girl named Justice (Janet) who writes poetry and is trying to get through hard times that have happened in the past and start over. Justice and her friend Keisha take a trip to Oakland with Keisha's boyfriend Chicago and friend Lucky (Tupac). Justice and Lucky fall in love through the movie. This is a really good flick to watch again and again. It also has a great ending and the bomb soundtrack.

Review: It's a good road movie that is dwelling on the woman's perspective. Janet might not be the biggest actress, but I don't think that she is spoiling the movie. It was very interesting to see Tupac in his role. It gave him a new "role". If you like e.g. Boyz in the Hood or Baby Boy, this movie could be interesting

Summary: One stupid movie
Review: Boyz N the Hood- now that was a good movie. I guess John Singleton thought he was invincible when he came out with this goofy movie. Janet Jackson is very hot but not even that can save this one. You've got this girl- her name is "Justice"?!? - and she JUST HAPPENS TO WRITE POETRY?!? - so of course... we get the movie "POETIC JUSTICE". Brilliantly stupid.

Summary: stick to music miss janet
Review: I'm a huge fan of janet jackson's music. Her acting is not quite as good as the music and music videos. She and tupac looked good in the movie and janet tried her best, but she was much better on Good Times and Different Strokes as a child. Hopefully she'll give a great performance in the upcoming film she's doing about Lena Horne. It was nice hearing her single "Again" in the movie, it's definitely one of her best ballads ever.

Review: Janet Jackson was great in this movie!! I have been a Janet fan for years and loved just about everything she has done.I can't believe that you can even say that this has probably killed her acting career. It's so obvious that you can't see talent.Janet did a great job for a singer converting over to the acting business unlike others.Janet Jackson is phenomenal and you are a fool if don't think so!! Janet will be back next year playing Lena Horne in her next movie role, you just wait. Check out Janet on February 1,2004 at the Superbowl because she will give you a performance like NEVER before. Please, as soon as Janet gets through ripping up the stage, you won't even know how to spell "football". Janet is the BOMB and so is this movie!! You are an idiot if you think different.

Summary: Medicore Road Movie
Review: After watching this film for the fourth time since I bought it I have good feelings and bad feelings about the movie,
The good feelings are that, it doesn't get any less entertaining nor exciting since I first watched it. Also there was a great cast to support the film, With Janet in the lead role she played well and at times made you forget she is a music superstar which Tupac had shown in this film,.
Regina King played the part well and well as her boyfriend Chicago which made the scene amusing every time he was in it.The problems I felt was that, I could feel there was a message in the film not as obvious in Boyz in tha Hood, It was stuck between Janet's personal problems and Society in America. Maybe if John Singleton had tried to stick to one of the subjects it wouldn't have been a lost film. Also There were scenes were Tupac and Jabet try to have a personal moment where they try to share their hearts or pain which could have helped the film in an emotional level which felt like it was rushed for time in scenes or lines were just randomly thrown in to get the couple to like each other from hating each other. It was a film full of potential of a good road movie which could have dealt with personal problems and problems of the American society. Had it choose to concentrate on the one.

Review: I think the movie was good. I'm a big Tupac fan and I don't really care for Janet Jackson. It shows the events they encountered. For example, the picnic/bar-b-que scene. I believe Tupac could have had a better part, but he did try his best to make his character come to life. Janet played her roll alright, but it doesn't compare to Penny, the character she played on Goodtimes which was decades ago. Janet Jackson and the movie needs a little work. Some changes in detail and character development would have made this movie great.

Summary: Excellent Movie. Period.
Review: This money is great. It shows a woman healing from the pains of her boyfriend being killed my gangsters. Also Tupac Shakur plays in this movie and does a great job. You see a side of him that you wouldn't see anywhere else. Instead of the gangster routine, Tupac plays a postman that meets Justice one day and the story unfolds from there. Great movie :)

the story on itszelf is also verry good and u c the love that grows between two people (janet and 2pac)and that is verry beautiful.
If u don't feel good and u watch this movie at the end of the movie u feel verry good.
this is the best movie becouse tupac shows his nice site and that is something that people got to c becouse then u get a positive picture of 2pac and the movie is fantastic.
if u r a 2pacfan then u must have this movie it is great.
