Summary: Great Waves, Real Surfers. What more could you ask for?
Review: This has the best big wave surfing footage. It shows Jaws at some of it's best. If you stop to think about the acting then you would realize that these people are real surfers not actors. They din't have to learn how to surf and that's what made it so good, along with the passion that it has for soul surfing and your friends. And that's what counts the most.

Review: I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE THAT WAVES ARE BRUTAL AND THAT THE MIND IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WHEN IT COMES TO SURFING. YOU CANT SURF WITHOUT USING YOUR MIND. IN GODS HANDS WAS AN EXCELLENT VIEW FROM A MASTER IN HIS SPORT. GREAT STUNTS. AMAZING WAVES AND A STUPENDOUS SOUND TRACK MADE THIS A SUPERIOR MOVIE.

Review: The film truly catches the fierce power of deep blue waters and waves of an ocean. The film catches the entencity of a trembling,enormous wave. It is truly a humble experience to watch. It gives a general idea of how surfers think and sums up most of the soul surfers feelings. I've notice the cheezy acting which only made the movie greater because you relize it is the real surfers that play each role, which gives a more real feeling to this art of surfing. I recomend this movie for anyone for any mode:it'll make your mind clear.

Review: The best surfing movie since Endless Summer and better than some of the Academy Award Winners! Good story line - fantastic film footage and some interesting music. One of my all time favorites.

Review: Best Surfing Movie Ever! I love how passionate these guys are about riding good waves & better yet embracing the best of what life has to offer young people. Some of the quotes in that movie are branded in my brain. The best analogy of being single I've ever heard." Going after beautiful women is like marlin fishing. If you really want to catch one your going to have to gear up. You'll need bait, fuel, motivation & skill for the high seas. Then if your lucky -really lucky you'll get a hook up. But then you have to reel her all the way back to the boat. I've got a question for you at that point - Who's tired????" I've rented the movie like 4 times and watched it probably 8 times. A true inspiration to say the least.

Summary: A movie definitely worth seeing...
Review: Even if you have no clue about surfing, you will enjoy the movie. There are a few cheesy scenes, which only surfers could appreciate but the movie redeems itself with spectacular cinematography and a truly enjoyable cast. Although parts of the script are weak, they are small and fairly unnoticable. The supporting cast is wonderful and of course surfer's will love the waves.

Review: so good that by the time it was over, all I could think about was playing it again." Think I'm going alittle far? well, think about this. "So you want to see a surf movie, and you start with the obvious, Endless Sumer, Endless Sumer II. Then you hear about this movie, filmed in a far away country, with a price you can't even aford. What then? How far are you willing to go? How much are you really willing to pay?" Okay, lets say the plot doesn't interest you, and you don't like the acting, you should still see it. Why? The sheer power of Jaws. Not often has this remarkable place been filmed so beautifully, so impresivly you can almost feel the ground shake. " Think about that."

Summary: One of the great guilty pleasures I have seen
Review: I am not a surfer, but the images and feel of this movie just sucked me in. This is more than a movie, but an atmosphere and a way of life. The acting is like junk food- maybe not fancy, but quite tasty somehow, perhaps it's because these folks really are surfers. This is a movie that works- if you try to dissect it, it seems ridiculous- beatiful people surfing, low plot, but this movie charmed me because it has a soul. I could taste the freedom of the surf and the life and it made me think about chasing waves instead of working at a desk.
