Review: This movie grabbed me from the begining and never let go. All the characters were casted very well. I loved the song at the end of the movie, it anyone knows where to find it let me know.

Review: In the tradition of Trainspotting and Pulp Fiction, here is a film that entertains through speed. The quick twists and turns, combined with cuts to situations which may or may not have anything to do with the plot, make for enjoyability only because most viewers will not have sufficient time to analyse. Being a student of film, I am cursed with the need to critique, and the inability to sit and enjoy for the sake of sitting and enjoying. I do however realize that film is pop culture, and trash by nature, and my expectations can not possibly be met in a medium of only 100 years of age. Bottom line, this film is enjoyable and Cristopher Walken has not lost any of my respect. In fact, the overall acting was great, but Mr. Walken tends to justifiably overshadow.

Summary: the epitome of dark comedy
Review: If anyone wants to know what a dark comedy is really supposed to be like, this movie is it. Not only is there dark sense of humor but everyone is in dark clothing, the movie is at night mostly, and death seems to be lurking in the room with this five young men and the older gentleman they kidnap and cut his finger off. Ouch! The young men are trying to make a deal with Christopher Walken the older man, help us get our friend's sister back and we will let you go. But when the bleeding does not stop, the boys get pretty scared. Can you blame them? No, because this man they tied up is a notroious criminal. I would be pretty scared myself! That is why this movie is so good, it is funny how this kids are so silly as to think they could get away with this! Jay Mohr is really funny as the ringleader with smark aleck mouth. I felt sorry for Henry Thomas since it was his sister who is missing. Also felt sorry for Jeremy Sisto who did the cutting, uh oh! Johnny Galecki was funny but overacted when he was throwing and breaking things. Sean Patrick was funny, but he didn't talk much. This movie has a lot of shocking secrets and surprises, so it keeps you interested. Did I mention that Walken is the scariest man on earth and that this kids were really dumb to mess with him?

Summary: Walken at his best
Review: What makes this film highly enjoyable are the excellent performances of both Christopher Walken and Denis Leary. Walken gives a very sincere and creepy portrayal of a powerful Gangster. Lery is alot of fun as his second in command. I especially love the scene where he tells the drunk about his father and beats him senseless with the toaster. This film is not for the faint of heart, but I think there are those who would defintely like it.

Review: This was a movie that I really enjoyed. It kept me guessing the whole time. The scene in the Tunnel was fantastic. It got only a little gross when they cut a finger off, but not too bad. Great Cast!!

Summary: An Excellent and Very Entertaining Dark Comedy
Review: Compelling from start to finish, Suicide Kings is never boring and never ceases to be funny. The dialogue is natural and often hilarious, the plot is well-developed, and all is taken care of in a very satisfying conclusion. The ensemble cast is outstading, the standouts being of course, Walken and Denis Leary, but the kids as well, although Ira gets slightly annoying, but that's the point. Nonetheless, a definite must-see.

Review: I also tried to find the love song from the movie (the kidnap/car scene and at the end)... if you watch the DVD version of the movie with the director/producer comments, they mentioned that the song was written just for the movie/scene, however the song was not recorded or no record deal was made... thus he says you can't get this song anywhere - it's not even on the soundtrack... damn.. the song is really awesome, though!You should also watch the movie with the director's comments when you get a chance(only available on DVD) - you'll get a better appreciation of the movie and learn one or two things about movie making (acting, filming, sounds, etc).. cool stuff!

Summary: GREAT MOVIE
Review: I loved this movie. It really made me think. I had to watch it twice just to figure it out. The kidnappers do a great job and Walken was solid. This is one my favorite movies of all time. The mix of comedy and suspense is excellent. This is definitly a must-see.

Review: this movie contained a slight hint of the style that tarantino has become renown for, but pushing it into a more professional light almost makes it seem more twisted, realistic, and honestly, much easier to watch. walken is an amazing actor, but the support he got from the others in this film made it simply incredible.
