Review: This movie deserved to be named one of the greatest movies of all time. Sylvester Stallone really made a great movie here. He was very smart when he insisted on being Rocky, I can't picture anyone else playing the role. This movie in every way shows a million to one plot. The most inspiring movie ever made. Much better than Diggstown.

Review: I don't understand what i'm supposed to do but Rocky is the best darn movie ever!!!!! And after you see this one you'll scream to see the next one and so on. So watch it and after you watch it at a party or sleepover, you might want to do some boxing yourself.

Review: I felt like Rocky 1 was the worst out of the 5 movies. Even Rocky 5 was a better film. The movie was so dull and did not really inspire me at all. Unlike the other 4 movies, Rocky 1 took forever to start. Movies such as Rocky 3 and 4 made me feel like I was Rocky and that I wanted to beat the adversaries (Drago and Lang). Whereas, in Rocky 1 I never felt anything for the character. The training and fight scenes were so lackluster. Balboa felt like a 2-dimensional character throughout. Finally, the fight scene with Apollo was the worst fight scene out of the 5 movies. It lacked emotion and the excitement was nowhere near say the Rocky 4 or even the Rocky 3 quarrels. Part of the reason I guess Rocky 1 was so bad because Stallone did not actually direct it (whereas he directed 2 through 4) even though he wrote the script. I am not sure what everyone saw in it but it is definitely not at par with any of the other 4. Maybe the ratings from critics and all the hype it got prepossesed people into liking that film. Personally, I have no earthly idea. Even with the above, I am a great fan of Rocky, and excluding the way over-rated original (one of the most over-rated films ever) , the Rocky series (especially part four) was one of my all-time favorites.

Review: Rocky is one of MY favorite movies, and it is a family loving movie. I watch the movie almost every day. The first day I watched the first one, I thought that it was a great movie. I didn't think that they'd make 4 other tapes of Rocky! So I had bought all 5 of them in the 20th anniversary case. Usually I watch the movie on tnt- when it comes on. This movie will be loved by millions 4- ever!
