Review: Mistitled as being about a battle that takes place about halfway through the film,there is so much in this film that is fictional or mistaken that this film is barely worth of being represented as"The film about Pearl Harbor.Some of the supporting characters are based upon true historical people,and their stones are also the most interesting.I would have to seen anyone,of their parts larger,rather than what this film is obsessed with...a patiently false romantic triangle brimming with platitudes and corny dialogue.The worst part of this movie is the first half,which contrates far more on establishing the three fictional characters.After Titanic became a success the studio found a way to make money.The 40 mins of action are great,but everything else is just not good.Just don't see this movie for anything in the world.

Review: I'm not sure if some people know HOW to enjoy a good movie. Despite the reviews, I found this movie very entertaining. Michael Bay did a great job and although I'm sure it wasn't 100% authentic, it still had some trueness to it. People have to realize, movies are made to entertain, just like Titanic. It wasn't entirely authentic, but still had true life scenerios added to it. I recommend this film, It was entertaining.

Review: Pearl Harbor the most definately the epic drama of 2001.Spectacular special effects and great acting.Many people think the love story in here made this movie look bad.It did not,I mean they could have shortened it by twenty minutes but the effects were spectacular and it should get nominated for several Oscars.

Review: I canno't believe someone actually wrote this movie.This is the worst film i've ever seen.Stupidly obounds.You can bet ill bet getting my money back from Blockbuster.My 5 year old sister could write better romance lines.The movie should not have been called"Pearl Harbor.The part that didn't really happen"I mean,wow,to think that the only reason Pearl Harbor happened was because of 2 nurses friends.

Review: I was a survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack on Dec 7th.This movie was great,but I cried at the attack scene because it was very depressing.I think everyone should love this movie,because its a great piece of movie history that should be appreciated.

Review: Its already made 100 million dollars in one week of video sales...does that tell ya something?This is a very good well crafted movie.There are two types of movie going people...Those who like Black Knight/Tomb Raider/Ghost of Mars...and those who like Pearl Harbor/The Rock/Armageddon...The latter one the ones whose opinions you should listen too...cause the first group probably think Dice Clay still has much to offer the world of comedy...yeah...right...:)

Review: An acquaintance of mine,offered a rather thoughtful insight on the cinema of Michael Bay."People are actually stupider after watching his films".Someone later grogarglued that bad movies have never been proven to reduce peoples iq but he's missing the point.I must admit I enjoyed his past work.I engoyed the Rock all the way through.Then Armageddon that tooked itself too seriously but at least it was a killer movie.Now Pearl Harbor.Its a sad movie from a film critic's point of view.He's removed from a basic understanding of purpose of art.Pearl Harbor is pathetic to watch.Watching Pearl Harbor is like watching an infant bawling in its own dipers.This movie even became the highest grossing movies of all time.The full audience gave Pearl Harbor a appause.The script is weak,but the attack sequences are great to watch.The ending is very shocking and good .Just don't watch this movie.I suggest you watch the trailer instead because its full of action.

Review: My thoughts on "Pearl Harbor" are two fold, both good and bad. The Good portion of this review is regarding the graphics used to dramatize the attack. I have never seen anything so spectacular as far as attack footage. To me the downside of the movie is the fact that far too much time was devoted to the love triangle, and not nearly enough time was devoted to the "behind the scenes story" of what the personnel in both Hawaii and Washington D.C. actually knew about what was about to happen to the naval and air bases located on the island. It is the opinion of this author that the movie "Tora Tora Tora" was of greater interest because of the detail which it went into regarding the planning of the attack as well as what was going on in Washington. In conclusion I would recommend that anyone who is a fan of military movies see "Pearl Harbor".

Review: Pearl Harbor is probably one of the most underrated film of 2001.I watched this movie on a bad Tv and widescreen video and I still loved it.I didn't know what to expect when I saw it.The trailer looked very good but because of all the bad reviews I expected it to suck.It didn't.Sure,some of it is a bit baised and some of the romance is corny,but what do you expect?Another Titanic?The special effects were at their best and the acting was good.The silent,slow motion scenes were also effective,as they are in a war movie.I didn't care what people say about Pearl Harbor.It's my praise.

Review: This was a very sad movie that is one of the best movies i've ever seen.Ben Afflick and Josh Hartnett are good together.The special effects were really great,and the attack sequence was very dramatic.I think everyone should love this movie because its one of a kind.Hollywood would never make a great movie like this one.
