Summary: A Tour De Force
Review: well i saw the movie and i must say that it was seducing, primitive, evil but in all honesty entertainig, thats all we want isnt it? Crusie I feel played the Vampire Lestat very well and i do think evil is a good scene for him. Pitt did a good performance as tragic and beautiful Louis, he played the part well but to much sulking but, perhaps, thats what immortals do.Dunst was by far the best actress for her age i don't think i could slip the words that fast at that age! And magical Armarnd by good, too old Antonio but he is talented and the accent captured the romance of Armarnd completely. I really recommend this movie it is both dark and beautiful esp the costumes i would die to wear one of those outfits. The movie is a savage garden.

Summary: Excellant
Review: It had this dark feel to it which really hit the spot for me, an interesting script and life to the book. Although Tom Cruise doesn't exactly fit my perception of Lestat.

Summary: THE CRUISER AT HIS BEST
Review: Interview With the Vampire(1994)is a good film thanks to Tom Cruise and the production values. However, Louis(played by Brad Pitt) is a sulky character and quite unbearable at times. But thanks to Tom(as Lestat), we are amused by some truly wicked moments - he is quite good playing EVIL...

Summary: Not as good as the book...
Review: Okay, I had just read the book, which I thought was pretty good, though not as good as most people had said ("The Vampire Lestat", however, was great!) Anyhow, I think they really screwed up alot of things (the absence of Lestat's father, casting Kirsten Dunst as Claudia, and having Lestat instead of Armand turn Daniel into a vampire), but they caught the atmosphere and I thought that Tom Cruise was really smooth as Lestat de Lioncourt. Antonio Banderas wasn't good as Armand. For all of the down sides, the ending (which was, of course, different from the book) made up for it. Ohhh, that was great...

Summary: MOVIE WAS SURPERB
Review: THE MOVIE WAS SUPERBLY DONE CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT IT WAS TRANSLATED FROM BOOK TO MOVIE. CRUISE, PITT, AND SLATER DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN THIER PORTRAYAL OF THE THIER CHARACTERS. THE MOVIE IS A THRILLER DESPITE ITS LENGHT. ALTHOUGH IT WAS AN EXCELLENT MOVIE THE BOOK REALLY SHOULD BE READ.

Summary: Did not read the book, BUT I loved it!
Review: After reading parts of The Vampire Lestat, I wanted to watch Interview with the Vampire, and some parts to it did not connect with book II of the Vampire Chronicles but that was alright. The movie was magnificent none the less. It was dark, and gloomy and kept with the ideas of "finding out the meaning of life" or in the case of the vampire, unlife. It is not your typical monstor movie, and this alone makes it a good vampire movie.

Summary: My NEW Favorite Movie
Review: The book was awesome, and the movie definately did justice! Most movies that come from books suck, but this movie is now one of my all times favorites. It ranks right up there with the Silence of the Lambs and The X-Files: Fight the Future.

Summary: I loved this movie! Very dramatic
Review: Very excellent! Brad Pitt was wonderful, Tom Cruise was dazzling. They really brought out the characters of Louise and Lestat

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: some problems, but pretty good
Review: The movie as a whole was a very decent endeavor, however there are some problems. Firstly, Tom Cruise is not a very good vampire, there are several reasons why this is, and the biggest is that it's not a typical role for him and he just isn't very convincing. Secondly, Bandaras, awful choice for a vampire, especially considering how his character was in the book. The only casting choices that were good, are Dunst as Claudia, and Pitt as Louis. Personally, I didn't expect much from Pitt either, however he really did an excellent job protraying the tortured Louis. The movie also has some problems with a slow-moving plot, it is by no means awful, and is pretty good as far as vampire movies go.

Summary: Unforgettable!
Review: Ohh Ohh Interview. What an incredible work of art this movie is. Tom Cruise is wonderful.. At one moment, charming, the next evil.. Brad Pitt plays Louis perfectly. And Kirsten Dunst is simply mesmerizing on the screen. She is one of my favorite characters in this movie. It IS somewhat graphic, but that's not what the movie is about. You will never forget this movie.
