Summary: Extremely well done!
Review: The cinemetography alone is worth the price for this video. Kristin Dunst stole the show right out from under both Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. All in all, a *very* successful book-to-screen translation of the Rice novel. The movie is a visual treat, and the soundtrack is lovely as well (except for that awful cover of 'Sympathy for the Devil.')

Summary: A Gothic-lovers' dream!!
Review: Very lavish and visually-stunning. The acting was superb. I loved the humor Cruise put into Lestat, it was a great offset to Pitt's brooding, morbid Nicholas.

The actress who played Claudia was the most amazing thing though. I understand she was only 11 years old when she did the movie!WOW. Her acting was flawless!

This book is my all-time favorite book, and is the one I say instantly when asked what my favorite book is:)

Summary: Best vampire movie i have ever seen.
Review: I saw the movie before i bought the book. And without knowing anything about it, I expected the usuall "stake in the heart story". But I got totally amazed of how wonderfull this movie was.It was the first one I've ever seen where you got the story from the vampires point of wiew.Do I have to tell you that in a month I had bought all the books in the chronicles.I think Tom Cruise and Kirsten Dunst were brilliant as Lestat and Claudia.

Summary: Cool, but Confusing
Review: I enjoyed the movie, but I defy anyone to try to figure out what the heck Banderas is saying through that accent. Also, can anyone explain to me that ending?

Summary: Revolutionarily outstanding !
Review: Yeah, sure, it's has it's variations from what Bram wanted vampires to be seen as, but if ALL vampires were the same, immagine how boring it would be. I think Anne Rice's Chronicles are masterpieces, but cannot outdo The original Bram Stoker's Dracula, but after all, it is a world of fantasy.....no rules to abide by, i think Anne Rice's portrayal of vampires is a rather nice change to the demonic Dracula.(But dont get me wrong, Dracula still rules.)

Summary: Give me Dracula any day
Review: This movie is rather ridiculous. It makes a point to down all parts of the Dracula story (which was the original and by far the best). I hate how each new vampire movie changes the "rules" to which the vampire abides. I have read several of Ann Rice's vampire novels, trying my hardest to like them. Each time I was left wondering why her books are so popular.

Summary: go and see this movie
Review: This movie is without a doubt the best movie I have ever seen!! I loved the book Interview with the Vampire, and now I'm reading the book the Vampire Lestat, Anne Rice is a marvel!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wickedly dark and appealing.
Review: Anyone who's read the book may be a little disappointed, but that soon fades. Tom Cruise pulls off a great Lestat, funny and wanton. Here's to the sequel.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I loved it
Review: I like the movie because it is kind of scary and it has my favorite actors Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt.

Summary: victorian masterpiece
Review: I have to say that i was wary of this movie at the first announcement of it's release. But after viewing it for the first time i loved it. The gothic and victorian overtones as well as the eroticism displayed in this tale of love and betrayal among the children of the night should be vivatiously appreciated by all of Rice's loyal followers and vampristic culturalists as well, the actors chosen for this film we're thoughtless, yet seemingly convincing as the film progressed. I live within the culturally invisible dark part of society which most know exists, yet force themselves to bury the belief for their ownfearful reasons. I have seen quite a few vampire movies in my time and i have to give my deepest thanks to The beautifull mind if Anne Rice for creating this soon to be Vampire classic and Neil Jordan for realizing the Aristic potential of this mysteriously romantic work of art.
