Review: This movie was good but I think they should have based it more on the other people who travel in the Titanic not only the love story of the two characters because this was suppose to be based on actual events.

Summary: It seemed to be good a long time ago.
Review: Although I did like this film the first couple of times I saw it. Upon a few more viewings, it fades and I realized that the acting wasnt all that good and Leo is so annoying. If you want real films of epic proportions, see Lawrence of Arabia, 2001:A Space Odyssey, Schindlers List, or The Godfather, or the cream of the crop, Star Wars.

Summary: Still the Greatest
Review: Now that all the hype has died down, "Titanic" can safely make it claim as the greatest of all movies. I feel so sorry for you cynical slobs who cannot appreciate its beauty. Too bad you have to live in a world where it is the highest grossing movie! Must be hell for you. As for myself and the rest of us who love this movie, "Titanic" will live on forever!

Review: I did not see Titanic in the theater. In fact, I had made up my mind never to see it. Why would I want to sit through 3 1/2 hours of a love story, when I knew the boat was going to sink at the end?? One night a friend brought the video over and pushed play. I was never so moved in my 25 years. I almost felt like I was there. I realized there were old couples clinging together to the very end, and innocent children, about to go into a sleep they didn't understand. Touching, Exciting, and Awestriking

Summary: good special effects don't make up for poor acting and story
Review: Titanic was totally overrated as being a heart warming love story and tearjerking movie. The story was unoriginal, underdeveloped, and boring and the acting made it even worse. I do give this film some credit for the great special effects but it drags too muchin the middle and end of the movie. The movie was too long. THe story could have been told in less than two hours but it took them three and a quarter hours. The second time I saw it i found myself wishing for it to end. I don't recomend this film to anyone interested in seeing a good movie.

Review: This film is seriously overrated. although the special effectts and scenery are stunning, dicaprios performance is mediocore at best, while winslet was actually pretty good. This film would not have been as near as popular as it was if leo wasn't in it.the only reason it is so popular is because all the 14 year old girls went out and saw it 5 times. For a truly epic movie, see "lawrence of arabia."

Review: Cliche after cliche in this film. I gave this film an extra star because of the reasearch that went into the making of this. I did not care too much for the characters in the movie...very shallow. This is the most overrated movie of the 90s.

Review: Every one told me oh! go see this movie its so good. Well, I wasn't aloud to see this movie until I this year, and I was so disapointed! It was poorly written and the actors were REALLY bad! It didn't make me cry! Although I doubt I can stop any one from seeing this movie. I really don't recomend it.

Summary: TITANIC SHMITANIC.
Review: Titanic is an epic movie that has something everyone can enjoy or at least find interesting. If your not busy gazing at the special affects and beautiful majestery of the ship, then your being captivated by the performances by Kate and that one guy. (totally overrated performances though). I loved one review where someone mentioned Leonardo DiCrapio? Haha. I was dissapointed in the fact Kathy Bates didn't have a bigger part. The music is also moving.The ridiculous part of the movie is the gun fight at the end. Give me a damned break, you mean to tell me if a ship is sinking, some fool is gonna pull out a pistol and start shooting into a crowd of drowning passengers? Yeah right, I don't think so! All and all, it was a compelling drama with that great Celine song forever linked to the movie.
