Summary: It's great!
Review: I was going to give this film three stars, but after I watched it again a few times I decided it deserves a little higher rating. I don't give it five stars because of the fact that no film needs violence or profanity. Rated PG is my limit, but with films like this one I will make an acception. I was affected by this film in both good ways and bad ways. The first half of the film is both exciting and heart warming. But the second half is darker and sometimes even terrible, except for the ending.Danny Nucci and Leonardo Dicaprio make a great team. A pair like them should work together again someday. Not just as Jack and Fabrizio I mean. I wrote a fan fiction story about how they became friends. It's called "First Meeting" and it's posted at After the Iceberg. If you read it please tell me what you think about it.

Review: This VHS version of the film is pretty good. The picture quality is above average. The Pan & Scan isn't bad at all, but the widescreen version is better. The movie is really good and well worth seeing. Leonardo DiCaprio was okay as Jack Dawson was okay but Kate Winslet as Rose Dewittbrukator and Gloria Stewart as old Rose shine in this movie. They should have gotten the oscars instead of Helen Hunt and Kim Basinger. I prefer the DVD version, however. The sound on the DVD version is incredible. But if you can't afford the DVD, or haven't made the switch to DVD, buy the VHS tape. It's well worth it.

Summary: What a waste of a potentially great story
Review: This movie should never, ever win the Oscar especially when competing with "As Good As It Gets". The romance is pitiful, the characters unrealistic and the actors playing them should go back to acting school. Leonardo is horrible and even his looks do not make up for bad acting. The best part of the movie is the historical authenticity in recreating the Titanic and its sinking. The worst thing about the movie is bad acting which really sinks otherwise poor plot. Do not buy this movie- there are great stories out there pick something that will not make You sick to Your stomach after watching it.

Review: I think that this movie is the best Titanic movie ever releised because I have it and watch it almost every day!

Summary: I ADMIT IT WAS ENTERTAINING BUT...
Review: It's most certainly not the best movie of all time, as most people say it is. It may be the movie which recieved the highest number of acdemy awards, but it's also the movie with the highest amount fo goofs/errors/bloopers. Face it! This WAS entertaining, but nothing original, and certainly not a classic. I wouldn't even call it ONE of the best movies of all time. The only reason people love it so much is because of Leonardo Di Caprio(the teen idol) and Kate Winslet...And they are not very talented actors. If it weren't for the chick flick and all the nude scenes, not to mention the pathetic love affair, no one would have liked it. I repeat, thsi si NOT as great as everyoen says it is, and certainly does not deserve the awards it recieved. If you want to see a good example of a somewhat sophisticated love affair, see Andy Tennant's EVER AFTER : A CINDERELLA STORY)(which can be called a classic). If you wish to see romance-based films which can be called time-less classics, see MY FAIR LADY or THE KING AND I. What a waste of time and money TITANIC was.

Summary: if i could I rate it WAY higher!
Review: This movie was soooo moveing and wonderful I can not put into words! I'm sure you all know the story of jack and rose by now. I've benn reading some of the reviews adn they really shock me! I can not understand why anybody would hate this movie, if you are one of those people, you are heartless and hateful. Many people were saying how unbelievable it was that they fell in love with in a day or so, but that is NOT unbelivable, what kind of a person are you if you can not wake up in the moring thinking that there is a possibleity that today you could meet the one you love? This was a love story to end ALL love stories,for the many of you who think that it is childish love, first class women had a 9/10 chance of surviving, and Rose gave that up to be with the one she loved. And, the most touching part of the whole movie was at the end right before he dies, when he says "Winning that ticket rose, was the best thing that ever happened to me, it brought me to you and I'm thankful for that rose, i'm thankful" you would not feel that kind of love adn passion if it were just childish "puppy love." Not only was this the best love story ever told, the special effects were just amazing! And the costumes! Everything was just as it would have been in 1912. all those people who didn't like this movie have never really been in love. It doesn't matter how much you "love" somebody, you can not have REAL true blue love with out passion.

Summary: Belongs on the bottom of the Ocean
Review: Let me sum this movie up for you,and then you decide if it was worth all the hype and 3 plus hours. Here goes,first there is Rose,a woman who has a lot of problems for instance, a rich, handsome man who wants to give her jewels that would choke the average horse. Add to this she gets to rub elbows with the worlds super rich(I know,I felt her pain too.) and poor Rose is upset about her disasterous life, because she has big dreams,(mobile home parks and minimum wage jobs apparently) which is why she chooses Jack over the previously mentioned fellow,and that is her story. And then the boat sinks and a bunch of people die. And that is the movie,worth over a billion dollars? My answer,a resounding NO! And this has been called a "masterpiece", that is sad.

Summary: James Cameron is a genious
Review: Admit it all you guys that hated Titanic. You hates love stories in general and shouldn't have watched the film in the first place! You loved T2 and Aliens. Titanic was geniously crafted with the same passion as he had when he done his other films. It has incredible effects, great cinemathography, thrills and (a large amount) passion. If you wanna see a documentary of Titanic, go see one, there are many good documentaries on this subject out there. But stop trashing this film, it is a true epic. By the way, I'm not a teenager girl, I'm a 22 year old guy and I knows many other guys that loved this film too. Do you honestly think Titanic would have made 1.6 billion if only girls watched it? Come on!
