Summary: Pop Culture movie
Review: If you are looking for a love story that have a pop culture story (like some sort of 90210 Beverly Hills in the old fashion), this is for you. If you plan to make a gift for a teenager or a Leo's fan, go on. If you are looking for an award quality love story for mature audiences, get Madison Bridge by Clint Eastwood or Casablanca.In my opinion (and this is exactly my opinion) Cameron knew how to manipulate people emotions and despite of the not overwhelming performance of DiCaprio and Winslet it became a hit. Watching this movie is like having some sort of catarsis. I noticed that those people who have had a heartbreak just liked this movie, enjoyed and cried much more than other people. James Horner made a good soundtrack (I have it). As George Lucas said once, this is half of the experience. Star Wars is also part of the pop culture but it is also different. Star Wars made a special contribution in visual aspects and caused a revolution in the Sci-fi genre. Titanic is a single movie that has not contributed in such a way, however it showed me that marketing people and writers can make hits if they got to manipulate emotions. When no emotions are involved (from the beginning of the story to ship departure) it becomes slow and plain (boring if you have seen this already). However, as simple and common emotions start to rise people start to get involved. It ressembles some sort of "Pretty Woman" or latin "telenovelas" which have got good TV ratings in Latinamerica and China. I wouldn't call Cameron a genius, but I must recognize his work (Aliens and Terminator) has a certain level of quality as well as Michael Bay (The Rock and Armageddon). If you want a genius, look for Spielberg best movies or read Franz Kafka. There is nothing bad with that movie. This is not a masterpiece, not a crap, but a hit (like a pop music hit) that teens are going to keep as a symbol of their young years (like we did with songs like "We are the world"or "It is now or never"). Just put it in the right place. If you like pop culture movies or you have had a heartbreak or you like someone from the casting (I like Winslet) you may buy this one. Else you better rent it and have an opinion. Thank you for reading this.

Summary: A good movie, but not the best.
Review: I am sorry if I offend anyone, but I believe titanic was a good and decent movie. I would NOT however say it's the BEST movie of all time, because we all know that this is not true. There have been FAR better movies made than titanic. Titanic was just a huge mega budget film, and without that the movie would be nothing. The acting was below average, the special effects were great. It was such a mixed movie in my opinion. The film [plot] was pratically over before it started. One minute they met, the next the ship was bloody sinking! If you think this is the greatest movie ever, then I urge you to go and rent/buy Usual Suspects and/or The Shawshank Redemption. In conclusion Titanic was a VERY basic love story/plot that just had a high budget hollywood spin put on it. Watch it, but don't shout about it!

Summary: A grand and sweeping epic...
Review: Spectacular and exceptional historical epic involves 1912 sinking of White Star Line's prized ocean liner and two passionate individuals (both on different sides of the class system) is grand in every shape and form. Faultlessly performed by the two leads (Dicaprio is good, Winslett is better if you wish to compare them), expertly paced (with fine story telling finesse by director Cameron) and gripping from start to finish. Different, but not superior to British film "A Night to Remember," is a box offic sensation...and rightfully so.

Review: I absolutely loved the video, Titanic. The story is just so captivating and I really recommend it for all. It will grip your hearts and make you a part of the movie as well. Hurry and buy it because the ship is ready to leave the dock!

Review: I have seen Titianic 10 times, 3 at the cinema, and I never get bored with it, I cry every time. The whole way that James Cameron has written the film is excellent. Who else would go down to the real wreck to make a film. It is true what he said that once he had filmed the real wreck everything else had to live up to it. I have read many books on the subject, James Cameron took all theries into account and decided on the most likely event to have happened. I heard about this film a couple of years before it was finished and are pleased that James Cameron has proved all of the critics totally wrong.

Summary: This movie SUCKED!!!!
Review: I really hated this movie. I wasn't even at the theater for an hour and I was already wondering how I could waste my money on such a stupid film. The plot was anything but realistic. In real life, the third class passengers wouldn't have been allowed near the first class ones, so that was stupid right there. Also, the acting was horrible!! I've seen better acting on those homemade commercials for car dealerships! All in all, this was one of the worst movie'sthat I'll ever see.
