Summary: Could've been a classic...BUT
Review: Who cast this movie? Who actually thought Leonardo and Kate Winslet would be a good match? Listen up, Leonardo is a boy, therefore cast him in a boys part...example "Marvins Room" "Gilbert Grape" etc. Budget was too high to make a mistake like that. Storyline was actually very good but a second rate script,casting and acting took a lot away from this. What saved this movie was outstanding sets,effects and scoring. The sinking ship scenes were incredible. This truly could have been a great classic with better casting and a quality script.

Review: This movie was beautifully put together. Not only was the cast terrific but the movie keeps your eyes glued to the screen the entire time. What makes this movies so incredible is the fact that one can watch it over and over with it being new every time(what few movies today can do). I think that this movie will always remain one of the greatest movies ever to be made..or at least in my mind!! A whole lot of thanks goes out to the entire cast! Great Job!!

Review: THIS MOVIE HAD GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS ALL THE WAY THROUGH! ESPECIALLY WHEN THE SHIP SPLIT INTO! WHAT MADE IT SO SAD WAS THAT YOU KNEW THAT IT WAS REAL! THE JACK AND ROSE STORY WASN'T REAL, BUT THE REST WAS! THAT WAS WHAT MADE IT SO SAD! PLUS IT HAD WONDERFUL ACTING!

Review: There were a few things in Titanic I would change. Those things would be the words, the nudeness, the directer, and the charecters. DiCaprio looks like a 10 year old.(They would also probably do a better job.

Summary: An Astonishing Film That Falls A Bit Short
Review: Let me start by saying that I love this film. I saw it at the theater 6 times. Even so, it falls short. The gratuitous cursing and nudity did absolutely nothing to enhance the film. Leo's 1990's dialogue doesn't sound so good in 1912 ("You're a spoiled little brat, even!") Having said that, the real star of the movie, the ship, is incredible! My mouth was agape for the nearly hour long sinking. The effects were more than spectacular. They were astonishing. The heroic string quartet and the ones who stayed behind to certain doom received short shrift. Still a fine film

Summary: This is my absolute favorite
Review: I absolutely loved Titanic. I've seen it many times. I originally saw it because I've been interested in Titanic related stuff for several years. I've seen Titanic (1953) and A Night to Remember and this is definitely the best one. I would recommend this movie to everyone in the world. It is absolutely amazing. It easily replaced my former favorite movies - The Silence of the Lambs and Clueless. Have fun watching it!! =)

Review: You must agree that the hype over this movie was way too much. The first part actually bought me to tears-boring.There were so many other movies out at the same time and it is unbelievable to think that this beat them in the box office.

Review: I saw TITANIC and I would have to say that even though the special effects are great the acting leaves something to be desired and here's why. I found leonardo dicaprio and kate winslet seemingly miscast in thier roles also the mushy diolouge dosen't help either as well. I admit I would have found the film much more enjoyable if the story had focused on some of the real people on the TITANIC such as MOLLY BROWN, THE ASTORS, etc. I feel that would have made the movie a whole lot better than it actually was. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying this film does'nt have great oops! I mean spectactcular effects but that seemed to me the best part of the film so in my opinion this film wasn't deserving of it's eleven oscar awards to say the least. My advice see AMISTAD instead now that's a really great picture.
