Summary: Love can't hide mistakes.
Review: I have studied Titanic for a few years now and use to love this movie! but after stuying, the movie just isn' the best. First, get the spotlight off Leo and Kate and look at other chacters. Who relly acted the best? I think Victor Garber did the best job. Also, where was Molly Brown in all this? She was a much bigger help to Titanic then she was in the movie. Were not blind and there is more then one person who knows something about Titanic. A little more reserch may have helped this film.

Review: The movie was okay but they should have based the characters on real people to pay tribute to those who died. The villan wasn't too villanous. There was probably somebody better to play Rose and Jack then Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. At first I thought this movie was good but now its only okay.

Review: The fake love story doesn't cut it. It doesn't pay tribute to those who died. If it was based on real people, I would have like the movie better. Leonardo seems more like himself than the part of Jack. I didn't cry when he died.

Review: First off, i've been a historical nut over the Titanic for the past 13 years, and a member of the Titanic Historical Society. And..while the movie accurately depicted the disaster with a halfway decent ship model and a few accurate details, the teen-idol decaprio absolutely ruins the movie. They schould not of thrown in a teen hearthrob that couldent act if life depended on it. The entire boy-meets-girl plot is completly worthless, and various elements mislead veiwers to what acctually happened. I'm glad the Titanic is now a recognised event to all of the public, but this is just horrible...

Review: This movie is a true cinematic masterpiece!! The costumes are beautiful, the sets gorgeous, and the story is VERY touching . The people who do NOT like this movie either have hearts as cold as ice burgs not be touched by the story, or are very jealous of Leo znd the hype surrounding this movie(which it desreves!!). I have a question to all you Titanic "haters" , if it is such a "bad" movie why is the most popular movie ever? And why did it get 11 Academy awards if it is so "bad"!! And just because it is NOT Casablanca or Gone with the Wind(which are masterpieces too)it does NOT mean that it is a bad movie!! It is just different from those movies!!

Summary: I'm sick of the predictable backlash.
Review: Upon seeing Titanic for the first time I was amazed. The story and characters were totally absorbing and the film didn't seem to last for three hours. It was excellent. A word to all those who mercilessly slate it- you only do so because all of a sudden it's the vogueish thing to do. True, the acting could have been better in places and the dialouge was occasionally cheesy but the main thing about this movie is that it made people feel something. Not many films can do that.

Summary: AWESOME SPECIAL EFFECTS!!!
Review: I'm a high school freshman and want to write and direct movies when I grow up. This movie had a pretty good script, and I admit it made me cry the first time I saw it, but there are other movies with much better stories. What I liked is the special effects. I think it's incredibly amazing what they can do with computers. They can take a small piece of mechanical movie set that was filmed in a tank on a Mexico beach and make it look like a sinking ship in the mid-Atlantic. All the computer animated people they used in long shots of the ship and also the puffs of breath they added in with computers are cool, too. I can't wait till I can get through college and start working with things like that too!
