Summary: Choke on a rat and run around on fire
Review: Celine Dion shrieks like she's on fire, in addition to the rat that crawled into her throat. But this isn't about her, it's about a standardless slut who thinks love is in the back of a car after 15 minutes of conversation. All the girls that watch this are mislead and the guys are all perverts. It really says something about our society when this is the biggest money maker of all time. Bah.

Summary: Does not deserve the hype that it has received
Review: When I saw this movie for the first time, I thought it was pretty good. It had an aura that made it very appealing to watch. It was one of those movies that had a numbing effect on you when you left the theater However, I saw this movie for a second time and I started to think more critically about the movie itself. I think that the special effects used in this movie are probably the best that can ever be developed to portray the Titanic in any kind of production. The acting was highly overrated and too sappy. The dialogue was horrible, just about anybody could have played Leonardo Dicaprio's part with ease. If the casting directors would have picked a much more established actor with average looks, the audience could have concentrated more on the acting and the story line itself. If this was the case, people might take this movie more seriously instead of making a machary out of it. In my opinion, rent it, don't buy it.

Review: When this movie first came out I thought it was going to be like a remberance to those people that died when Titanic sank,boy was I wrong! I got so sick and tired of the hype surrounding this movie especially that annoying song from Celine Dion. And I just didn't see what was so great about it but I checked it out anyway and it sucked! It had so many mistakes in the film that you can shake a stick at,lousy screenplay and my 3 year old niece can write a better story than that! And the acting sucked also and the characters weren't believable they would at least pick actors that would fit the part instead of gen x actors. Speaking of Gen X actors it's a tragody that so many people died just so that teenage girls could just sign over Leo DeCrappio in that movie and he can't even act his way out of a sack! A 3 hour movie with a very cliche theme of boy meets girl and boy loses girl *yawn* I am never going to watch the Oscars again,they gave this movie 11 Oscars, snubbed Jim Carrey and gave a nazi lover a lifetime acheivement award. My heart goes out to those REAL people that died on Titanic but what's really sick is that hack James Cameron is making money off of those people that died that night. And for the people that is dissing others because they don't like this movie everybody is entitled to their opinion and it's called freedom of speech look into it! If you really want to learn about Titanic go to the library and do some research or watch documentaries to find out what REALLY happend and not some love story from some Hollywood director's sick vision.

Summary: Yes, it was flawed, but it was still good
Review: Yes, this movie was overrated. Yes, it wasn't the best movie ever made. Yes, the script is weak, and yes, the acting falls a bit short. And all Leonardo DiCaprio does is say lines anyone could say, flash a smile, have sex, and die. He's just not the greatest thing since Brad Pitt, ladies! But once you get past that, it really is a good movie. The scope is just amazing. It literally sweeps you away. The plot is well-handled, and it really is moving to watch the ship go down and see all the lower-class passengers kept from getting to the lifeboats. Some of the performances aren't that bad, like Kate Winslet (even though she handles the action scenes badly), Gloria Stuart, Frances Fisher, Kathy Bates, Victor Garber as Thomas Andrews and many of the actors playing third-class passengers. The effects are well-done. This really is a good movie, but it has its flaws. So what; what movie doesn't?

Summary: I believe that this movie was the spawn of satan himself
Review: 50 million 14 year old girls made this movie the biggest selling movie of all time. That doesn't mean you have to waste your time or money. The only good thing about this movie is when everyone died. Special effects were good, but not worth the 100 million dollars they paid. I really hate to see a movie where the leading male is prettier than the leading female. Leonardo needs to do some push ups or something, he's puny. Dont get this movie, trust me.

Review: The first time i saw it, it was ok. Then i saw it again and realised it wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. And including Leonardo Dicaprio was the worst thing Cameron could of done. The only good part aside from Jack drowning was the nude part.

Review: Okay, I'll give you my honest to God opinion. Titanic has terrible acting from everyone. Kate Winslet did a terrible job and so did that Leo Dicaprio guy. They both have done better in movies like Heavenly Creatures and Total Eclipse. But this movie had no good acting. Now Lets talk about special effects. The effects are SPECTACULAR covering up what the movie lacks in which is everything. When you see the acting you shrug and PUKE, but when you see the neat little computer graphics, you give in and surrender, its not your fault for loving this movie.....YES IT IS. Theres better films out there that were more worthy of earning A BILLION DOLLARS, like A Clockwork Orange which had NO COMPUTER effects to make it a wonder. Fargo is wicked and PULP FICTION IS AWSOME. These films dont need effects to make it the most amazing movies of all cause they already are. Lets just end by saying, SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE SUPPOSED TO ENHANCE THE MOVIE NOT BE THE MOVIE. When you get past all that, you'll see its a very badly made film. Thank you and goodnight!

Summary: a very slow movie
Review: This movie lags in many places - after the ship sinks, for instance, Jack and Rose are just shown casually conversing in the chilly waters for what seems like an eternity!! The iceberg looked fake to me and DiCaprio seemed pretty lame in his role as Jack. Winslet was terrific as always.
