Summary: Unexpected.
Review: I just got this film today and wow! I was very surprise by what I saw. The best of the series by far, I was particularly impressed with the lead actors Brian White and Patrice Fisher and a stellar appearance by Mr. Washington. The film is also particularly well directed with a beautiful indie aesthetic, cutting edge visuals, solid acting, edgy eclectic music and simply true class, which shatters the boundaries of 'urban' cinema. This IS a ground breaker and should be seen just for that reason. Who is this director? Never heard of him/her before... The plot is a little light and the surprise ending a little contrived but overall it's definitely the kind of film you can enjoy on a lazy afternoon or late evening.

Summary: In a word: Superb!
Review: In a word: Superb! French filmmaker, Skav One (aka Sylvain White) makes a statement with this powerful indie gem.

Please do not be discouraged by the tawdry series of films that came before this one and share a common title. Nor should this piece of cinema be restricted by the label of "urban" fare. "Trois: The Escort" is instead: a very pleasant surprise.

A solid and intelligent screenplay, combined with outstanding direction set the tone for this refreshing and well-executed thriller. The film's entire cast is exceptional and director, Sylvain White handles the film's noir elements superbly, with haunting music, taut cinematography, intelligent dialogue and a constant search for motive.

There are multiple twists to this cleverly cruel story, but the real draw is the onscreen coupling of Brian White (Mr. 3000, The Shield) and newcomer Patrice Fisher whose performances are both brilliant. Fisher, in particular, is spectacular and gives one of those performances that should put her on the map as a serious actress, if anyone is paying attention.

Isaiah Washington and Reagan Gomez round out the stellar cast and turn in quality performances, but both are upstaged by the magnetic chemistry between Fisher and White, who own this movie.

If you are looking for a smart thriller, with substance, depth and nuance then "Trois: The Escort" is an excellent choice for your late night enjoyment.

Summary: Quite a surprise!
Review: Just watched this and was impressed by the great twists, good acting, and incredible directing. Honestly, I think I rated it lower because I did not expect such a good film based on the poorer ones that preceeded it, but it was good. The director's creative filming and the main female whose character's name was khairia (sp?) were both memorable. Now this is a step in the right direction!

Summary: Maya Tai Dorsey is Hollywood's Next Superstar!
Review: The prequels to "Trois: The Escort," would leave one to have low expectations for a third installment in this series. However, I was pleasantly suprised. Playing as Natalie Biel, Trent's first official "job" Maya Tai Dorsey holds her own and surpasses her co-stars in this cleverly directed and edited suspense-thriller. Brian White is popping up everywhere and Isaiah Washington is a veteran, but Maya Tai Dorsey has a sensual charisma about her that is uniquely profound. Her talent is natural; it's as if she could only be known as the character she portrays, making it unable to imagine her any other way. Simply put, Dorsey's performance makes you forget that "it's just a movie" and that's "she's just playing a role" in it. Maya Tai Dorsey adds to this movie what many movies nowadays are missing - realism. Can't wait to see what lies next for this up and coming star!

Review: This movie was good, I don't think it is better then the first. It still had a good ending though.

Summary: The BEST of the bunch
Review: Trois 3: The Escort leaves the previous editions of this title in the dust. I have to agree w/ the other reviews about this one surpassing them by leaps and bounds. I think the STRONG casting in this one is what sets it apart. Great acting and chemistry between Brian White and Patrice Fisher. Fisher was pleasing to the eye, but there was more to her. Fisher had a power and command that came across on the screen. Never heard of her before this, but I predict big things ahead. White is/was already doing an awesome job on The Shield, but really let the audience feel his character's desperation/struggle. Reagan Gomez did a fine job as well although I have to be careful not to give anything away. Isiah Washington-very believable in his ruthlesness.
Great twists and turns. Great story. Great direction.
Did I forget to mention the HEAT? Impressively done, but in a unique way.

Summary: Classy "Urban" Film / Actually, it's more than an Urban Film
Review: What can I say, this film threw me a serious curve ball. Although each trois film has gotten better, this one made a jump with great leaps and bounds. This was truly a film with class. Classy direction. Classy acting. Classy storytelling. I was expecting it to be like a lot of those straight to video movies, (and not just the urban ones, all those B movies across the board) but I appreciate that the makers of this series continue to move in the right direction. And who is this Director and Writer. They have these mysterious names. Skav One and Mr. Anderson. Regardless, they both surprised me, pleasently. This director opened the erotic film genre up to another level, in fact, instead of exploiting it, he made it human. And I appreciated how the story took it's time and let us like and understand the characters, instead of slamming them into the sack. And the stars -- That Madame gave a whole new meaning to pimping ain't easy. And Regan Gomez has grown into quite the leading lady. The gigolo was very good as well. Good Acting. Good Directing. Good Writing. Honestly, I think you'll probably be just as surprised as I was, if not more by this film.
