Review: As a survivor of this event I found that there where a number of errors made and that the story line was the point of view of only a couple of people as far as events at the site where concerned. Production on this film was already under way when I was asked for my input. However it makes for good entertainment and gives a fair accounting of the hardships encountered by the survivors.

Summary: DEATH AND DELIVERANCE
Review: Richard Chamberlain stars as Captain John Couch, the pilot of a Canadian military transport, crashing on October 30, 1991, just a few miles short of its destination. Five of the eighteen crew members perish on impact, and though help is on the way, rough terrain and a blizzard, rendor the freezing survivors unreachable. Captain Couch valiantly risks his life, struggling against the deadly elements, to keep his crew and passengers alive in the arctic wasteland.

This was one of Richard Chamberlain's most powerful performances. ORDEAL IN THE ARCTIC, is a story of human endurance, and heroism. It will keep you emotionally engaged, and in captivated suspense, until its gripping conclusion. Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his fellow man.
