Summary: Hunk-ah, hunk-ah, piece of crap
Review: After watching this movie, I had to go to Blockbuster and look up what section I got it from--because I COULDN'T TELL WHAT IT WAS! It was never funny, never dramatic--WHAT WAS THIS? Who thought anyone could mistake Harvey Keitel for ELVIS? The man has NO LIPS! Elvis fans should be outraged that the King is being portrayed by a New Yorker with no friggin' lips. The only amusement I could find was watching the end credits and reading over the army of people assigned to turn Mr. Keitel into Elvis. Elvis hair by, Elvis gyration coach, Elvis etc.

I don't think Hollywood understands Elvis or his fans because they keep foisting carp like this and HEARTBREAK HOTEL on the American public. And probably wondering why these films bomb.
Keep trying, Hollywood, you might get it right someday.
Until then, we'll still be listening to our records and Takin' Care of Business....

Summary: A man picks up a hitchhicker who claims to be the late Elvis
Review: Finding Graceland is on the mind of Harvey Keitel. Bryon Grueman (Jonathon Schaech) is riding in a car with his wife. When his wife takes her eys of the road to kiss him, she runs into a train, killing her (Gretchen Mol). But Byron manages to still be alive.

So it's about a year, Byron felling guilt about his wife's death, decides to vist Graceland (I guess). On the way, he picks up a hitchhicker who cliams to be the late Elvis Presley. His name is Elvis (Harvey Keitel).

Byron doesn't believe he is Elvis. And why should he? During the trip, Byron meets an Marliyn Monroe impersonator (Bridget Fonda). It is almost August 16th (the day that Elvis Presley died).

Harvey Keitel looks nothing like Elvis. Harvey Keitel needs to get a hair cut. In fact, Harvey Keitel should have been dumped from the movie, and somebody who does look like Elvis should have been hired. If your an Elvis Presley fan, and you can't be able to make it to to Graceland, your next bet is to stay home and watch this movie.

My thoughts on Finding Graceland: I would reccomend this film to you if you are an Elvis Presley fan, or a fan of the cast. I will also reccomend this movie if you are to young to see 3000 Miles to Graceland. Or if you have seen 3000 Miles to Graceland and hated the movie. The movie was rated PG-13. And I would reccomend to you to get this movie if you love to get movies on dvd with deleted scenes or outtakes. And if my memory is correct, there are only 2 deleted scenes. I also will reccomend this film to you if you have seen 3000 Miles to Graceland and was disappointed because 3000 Miles to Graceland only had 3 Elvis songs. I think their are about 2 more Elvis Presley songs in this movie than 3000 Miles to Graceland.

Summary: You Got To Have Heart.
Review: Harvey Keitel stars in this film as Elvis Presley. Yes, Harvey Keitel as Elvis. Or at least the character he plays thinks he's Elvis. Now, I know that Keitel doesn't look anything like The King. However, that's part of the charm of this movie; how a man who doesn't look anything like Elvis can embody his soul and spirit so perfectly.

The film has a mix of both wonderful and wooden acting performances, and the plot is decent, but not very tight. However, seeing Keitel singing "Suspicious Minds" dressed as The King is worth some of the other dribble you will find here. The soundtrack is great as is the footage filmed from inside Graceland.

Overall, not too bad of a movie.

Summary: A movie for Elvis Fans
Review: I cried my eyes out. I love this movie. It doesn't matter that Harvey Keitel does not look like Elvis. Elvis came back to do what he loved to do, help people. There are hints all the way through this movie that true Elvis fans will recognize as Elvis trivia. The soundtrack is wonderful. From the frist notes of the music at the end of the movie, I knew the answer to all the question the movie asked. I have watched this movie at least 15 times and find something new in it each time. Anyone who wants to "find Graceland" will find it in this movie. I thank Priscilla for understanding what it would mean to all of us who still love Elvis, and endorsing it.

Summary: Excellent Movie!
Review: I have watched this movie no less than 20 times and each time, I find something clever I missed from the last. It is witty, touching, intriguing and memorable. It takes Elvis' memory and generosity and shows how that kindness still lives on and touches people to this day. A MUST SEE for your spirit, and a MUST BUY for that Elvis fan you may know! Also has GREAT footage of Graceland, inside the mansion and out.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: I just bought this movie as it looked good and I love Harvey Keitel and Bridget Fonda. But is it just me or is the acting really, really bad? It seems like a B movie. There's nothing particularly compelling about it in any way. I'm not an Elvis fan but I don't think the writer/directors wanted to find somebody who resembled Elvis to play the part. I don't think that was the point at all. Anyway, I still haven't decided if I can watch it drone on any longer! I don't recommend this movie. If you haven't seen Freeway with Keifer Sutherland and Reese Witherspoon; rent it..it's an older one that was overlooked but it's extremely entertaining!

Summary: Great Movie
Review: I really like this movie especially since it was filmed on my street! Elvis is big in memphis and it depicted it well. Great movie!
