Summary: A fun, wholesome show
Review: If you want to see a nice, wholesome four shows that are fun and enjoyable then I would recommend this DVD.The only dissapointing thing is that it are only four episodes on this DVD. I would have liked to see the other episodes that I've grown familiar with. This show can be a little bit corny but once you've grown used to that you'll learn to love it. Don't buy this DVD as a follow up to the books Little Men and Little Women. Joe's husband has died in this show to make room for a romance between Joe and Nick, a handyman who has come to work for Joe at the school. Because of this it cannot be very true to either book. Even so, I still recommend the DVD. It can be enjoyed by all ages. I am 15 and have loved it since I was 12. Kids would like it as would adults, so it's good for the whole family. enjoy!

Summary: I loved the book but the movie......
Review: They killed off Joe's husband so she could have a romance? Oh sure no problem.NOT! Also I missed Meg's kids being in the story.Oh yeah and Joe's other son. The acting wasnt the best either. If you are looking for a movie that will bring the book you read to life do not count on this movie.

Although it does move away from the book in certain ways, the series still brings the charm of Alcott's novel to the small screen. The scripts are well written, the acting superb, and the stories are timeless.
