Summary: Stick to the Original: Incredible Potboiler with Weak Script
Review: "Wild Things 2" is not a sequel to the 1998 original; it is rather a re-tread of that. Instead of Denise and Neve, you get Sesan Ward and Leila Arcieri as the stars of the film. The original directed by John McNaughton is now a cult thriller (partly because of Kevin Bacon's full frontal), but the film knew what it was doing. It was a sizzling potboiler with a twisted story, which was quite a joy to see. Unfortunately, "Wild Things 2" does not have the same power to make us care again.

Suzan Ward is Brittney, a rich high school girl whose mother married a not-so-nice step-father. Brittner's mom seems to have dived into a swamp in a car, and now she is living in a big house with a big pool.

But now, her step-dad is killed in a plane crash, and Brittney is supposed to inherit the big money ... until Maya, typical bad girl in high school steps in, claiming that SHE is the real daughter of the deceased, and SHE is the one to get the fortune.

Incredible? But it's just the start. You will say, "Now, what?" thousand times through the twists and turns of the story, which involved two males (oh, again) who should have stayed away from these chicks. One of them is Isaiah Washington as insurance company investigator.

The problem of the "WT2" is that the film's story sounds very ridiculous. I said about the plane crash. In the film you will hear how the accident happened. (...) The crash is, they say, caused by the "rats." Literary "rats," not the derogatory way of calling humans. Now, you know anything goes in this movie, and it does. The final chapter is full of "surprises" that you start to wonder "When does it stop?"

Acting is just awful, but to accuse the actors of it is not fair. First of all, they shold know Suzan Ward does not look like a high shcool girl, but that could be a minor trouble. But the gratuitous love scenes (in which it is obvious that they are using a double), creaky dialogues spitted out, and many, many other cheezy moments drag the whole film down to the level of direct-to-video movie, which this film exactly is.

This is in the same league of forgettable films like "Cruel Intentions 2." What next? "Titanic 2"? My opinion; Don't bother; stick to the original.

Summary: Pleasure Free And Guilty Of Being All Wet
Review: As a fan of the original film, I knew there was no way that Wild Things 2, a direct to video sequel would be as good. After all, none of the characters, or the director of the original are a part of this chapter. Never a good sign in my book. Still, I found myself curious though, much the same way I was with Bring It On Again, I couldn't help myself. Even though, I enjoy steamy cinema, as much as the next guy, I still came away after I watched, thinking my initial instints were correct.

Brittany (Susan Ward) and her rival Maya (Leila Arcieri) are two sultry Florida high school girls who, working together, hatch a murderous plot to scam a large sum inheritance. Soon they find themselves caught in a deadly web of blackmail and sex with a sleazy insurance investigator (Isaiah Washington).

Directed by Jack Perez, the film shouldn't even be called, Wild Things 2. This turkey doesn't have much to it that's worthwhile. The writers tried to stick in twists and turns to keep it interesting, but for the most part they fall below the mark. The acting is laughable--and not in a fun way--and not meant as a compliment in any way. The filmmakers even resort to all but restaging the first film's most memorable scene. What were they doing? Paying Homage?....

If there's any way you find yourself looking at the extras, you'll find a fluffy "making of" featurette, and a few product trailers. My advice though...Avoid this poor excuse for a sequel and stick to the original

Summary: Wild Things 2, just got off the short bus!
Review: I honestly can say that this movie is very dissapointing! Susan Ward is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen, but she's not enough to save this cheap low end sequel to the original. The movie lacks in everyway. The acting wasn't great and plot is very predictable. Don't get your hopes up on seeing this film. It will not excite you like the original did. I give this movie a 2 out of 5 stars.

Summary: Porn without the um... well, porn.
Review: I just saw this movie and couldn't believe how terrible it is. The plot is so much like the first one that this movie even has a 3-way sex scene like the first was famous for. The film was done so poorly that if you watch carefully you'll notice that right in the middle of the scene shoes suddenly appear on Maya's feet, whereas she had been barefoot only seconds earlier. If an entire cast and crew is too stupid to notice that, then you can just imagine how the rest of the film goes. Also, the whole idea of using rats to sabotage the electrical system in an airplane is too far-fetched to be believed. Avoid this at all costs.

Summary: Hot Things 2
Review: I just want to say this movie rocks! Its my new favourite movie! I love it!
There are so many twists and turns, you have to wait till the end to find out. Not many movies keep you guessing as Wild Things 2. It definatly surpasses the first one. Too bad it didnt make it to theatres-it would have been hot!
Everything about it is intriging. The stars, location, plot and outcome. And yeah, the 3some seen was hot!
I soo recommend this movie. I love it!

Summary: Amusing title
Review: Is this a follow-up to Wild Things 1? Not even close. Trying to cash in by using the title and the numerical '2', this movie plays like a bad USA B movie. A no-name cast and a silly storyline, very little of the elements that made WT1 so popular. If you want the real thing, just buy Wild Things(the R rated version) and if you must have it, the new 'unrated' version. WT2 sadly is a frisbee.

Summary: An exciting Sequel
Review: Let me start off by saying that this movie in no way is related to the plot of the original Wild Things. When I first heard about it I thought it would end up being a horrible disappointment like "Bring it On Again", and other similiar sequels. I wasn't even going to watch it until I found out that Susan Ward was in it.

The story is about a teenage girl who grew up in the trailer park but came into wealth when her mother married a rich man. That character is played by Susan Ward. It starts off with the mother dying from a mysterious vehicle accident in the Everglade swamps. That next week her rich step-father dies in a plane suspicious plane accident that seems like much more than just an "accident". Ward then learns that since she isn't a blood relative of her stepfather, she can't receive the multi-million dollar assets that he held in the corporate world. However, another girl from school comes forward and claims that she was the illegitimate child of the stepfather. I'll stop with the plot of the story right here. If I go any further I would be spoiling this exciting suspense movie for you. At first you'll think the plot is identical to that of the original Wild Things but then it will twist and turn and keep you guessing until the end. For the guys who liked the intimate threesome in the original Wild Thigs, good news, there's one in this movie too. Unfortunately it's not Susan Ward who you'll see topless. It's still a nice scene though. I recommend you buy this DVD if you can't catch the movie on Showtime. It's one sequel that's actually worth watching and in some ways it's better than the original.
