Summary: Great!
Review: Great, though I wondered when Robin Williams would change into his Mrs Doubtfire clothes... Have I got the right movie here?

Summary: An intelectual and brilliant display of thought.
Review: Good Will Hunting is a brilliant and intelectual overview of a young mans talent and desire to be faithful to his friends(family) becuase he's affraid to be successful. The way Robin Wiliams and Matt Damon are the exact same people in the movie is a brilliant display of character relations. I do find this movie simple but I encourage you to look beyond the script and look at what the writers really wanted to get across. A romance, a drama, and a hardfelt life a boy affraid to make something of himself that he has no desire to become.

Summary: Wow...
Review: I have no idea what the reviewer from Thank You, India is saying, because I thought the movie was the one of the best I have seen in a long time. Superb acting and a witty and moving script, not to mention surprisingly warm direction from Gus Van Sant really carries it through. I usually don't approve of language, but here I think it really shows the characters as the foul mouthed, frustrated Boston nobodies they are. They know they will never go anywhere in their life, and their language I think reflects their anger at the world they live in. The script and movie were so well knit (even the title has a double meaning-unusual) that the Oscars given to it were the best-deserved in years. Buy this movie!!!

Summary: Am I the only person in the whole world who hates this film?
Review: THIS FILM IS SO BORING!!!

While the acting performances are good, there is never even a hint of action in this self-smug piece of American junk. All that happens is some stupid cleaner gets good at maths, visits a therapist, and, erm, that's it really. Unless you're a greying 50 year old with an interest in people talking to each other for two hours, this film is NOT worth paying for.

Summary: powerful, passionate, articulate, brilliant
Review: I've seen the movie 5 times in the theatres, and it continues to reveal new intricacies. The intelligence involved in its writing and performing is beautiful to watch.

Summary: A briliant benchmark for its genre.
Review: Personally I'm an action flick man, but when I picked up this film I couldn't believe it.Me liking a drama? That's something for me.This, I must say, is one of the best movies I have ever seen.It is one of those films which richly deserves every ounce of praise it gets. The cast are brilliant(Daman, Affleck, Driver especially.)and Robin Williams is just the best, the warmth and depth he gives to the films is imeasaurable, the script is absolutely compelling(Affleck and Damon won an Academy Award for it.), and in areas it really makes you think seriously. It's about a kid who's an absolute genius in his own time, doing complex equations with the skill of the leading proffeser in the university Will(Damon) works in, and his job is a local janitor. But his problem is that he has had a troubled past and is regularly cautioned for offences against the law. The proffeser sees him refuses to give him up and so takes him under his own wing and he has to find a shrink for Will Hunting (Damon), no easy task. Finally the task falls into the hands of a retired mate/shrink of the proffeser- played by Robin Williams. This is film for anyone really, I would find it hard to comprehend if anyone didn't like it.The only problem with the film is that it's swearing will offend some poeople( a very small minority), but I'm not one of those people.Buy it, rent it but watch it whatever you do.

Summary: This was a terrific movie.
Review: It really related to real-life and the actors were great. Matt and Ben are terrific and hot. I recommend you see it, if you haven't already.

Summary: GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!
Review: Will holds extreme views about the world, because he had already seen through the truth of things. He knows the fact that the public don't dare face and the ugly side of people...

Summary: A surprisingly effective film
Review: "Good Will Hunting" is a genuinely good film, that will strike the hearts of almost anyone with it`s effective power and profoundness. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck`s script is triumphant, as it tells the story of a young man named Will Hunting. A rebellious but troubled young man, who also turns out to be a mathematical genius. The film examines the different path`s people have to choose in order to fufill their life. Will is faced with success, true love, or a rooted friendship. Gus Van Sant`s direction is excellent, as it brings out the best of everything, including the amazing performances given by every cast member (especially Robin Williams and Minnie Driver). The film does embody a number of noticable flaws, such as inpersistance and excessive swearing, but the goodness of the movie definitely outweighs the bad. In all, "Good Will Hunting" is a very thoughtful and satisfying film, with a lingering impact that will stay with you for a long time. The best film of 1997-98 for sure.

Summary: The word F_ _ K detracted greatly!
Review: A beautifully done production is losing many viewers because of the language. Too bad because there is really a great plot line!
