Review: When I watch the movie I was stuned My grandmother got me into it I really didn't know the Temptation I had herd their songs before, and I have to addmit I really got into the movie it was tragic at times, I would really want to know who the actors were expacially the one actor that played as Eddie he was picked very well I also like Paul beacuse he was the one he taught them how to dance and if it wasn't for him they would be nowhere and Otis had the level head I thought he was a good player to they picked the charactors well Leon I can't really look his name up but every scince then Iv'e listening to there music and getting on the internet every time I go over my grandma's house we always watch it, I never get tired of that movie I think they should of got more money for there sucsse instead of 5 stars I would give more than 100 beacuse the movie is worth watching you will laugh cry and want to watch it over and over again.

Review: I have watched this movie so many times, i've lost count. I fell in love with Eddie...then Paul....and the David Ruffin (leon) characters. I dont know the guy who played Eddie Kendricks real name and i'm most definitely going to find out. All of the men played their part so well. Sometime i watched this movie two or three times a day when i dont have to work. I love them all. The characters and The Temptations. I have went so far as to pull up websites on each of these individuals. I didn't know if they were really singing some of those songs but if they wasn't this is the first time i'v every seen such good lipsinging before. These characters were pick so well especially, Paul. I loved the movie and insteal of 5 star, i give it a 100 star.

Summary: The Movie was GREAT!
Review: I absolutely enjoyed this movie. I wasn't able to view the entire series on television. So, I got the DVD. That was one of the movies my family sat down to watch last Christmas. The acting was great. I hadn't known too much about the individual Temptations - so this movie really told me a lot. The music and the performances were so good - I often hear people (from family members to my hairdresser) talking about the movie and actually trying to perform some of those dance steps!!

The movie had so many moments - quite a few full of laughter and even those to make you cry. I really had no idea that the group had gone through so many break-ups and all of the different members. I also enjoyed getting to see a little bit of young Smokey Robinson (and the real Mr. Robinson at the burial scene), the Supremes and Berry Gordy.

Basically, the movie was good enough to make you wanna go out and buy those old Temptations records. In the meantime, I think I'll go dig out my video of the Motown 25 Anniversary special!

Review: The Temptations is a very, very good movie. They were a blues sensation , five singers that nowbody would ever believe would make it. Of course along the way egos flared. For example , David Ruffin was a very great singer , but behind closed doors he was a drug addick. The group thought that giving him a sheet of paper and telling him he was fired would get rid of him , but out of know where he strolls on stage and takes the mike. He then introduces himself by saying", I am David Ruffin and these are the Temptations". But through it all , from tragedy to triumph , The Temptations forged a musical legacy that brought a country together-and audiences to their feet. If you have not seen it , go to your nearest store now and get it.

Review: Before I saw this movie, my all time favorite was Gone With The Wind. Now, I cannot get enough of The Temptations. I have watched this movie over and over. I cannot get enough of it. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry. When Smokey Robinson sang at Melvin's funeral, I was crying right along with them. If you have not seen this movie, you absolutely must. I would love to talk to Otis Williams. I bet he has some interesting stories to tell. [e-mail]

Review: I have every movie known to man in my collection, many of them are watched over and over again......that is until I bought the TEMPTATIONS video, now there is only one movie to watch. Forget the subject matter, if you like movies you will love this, the acting leaves nothing to be desired, it's addictive you can't possibly watch it once. I've already had to buy another copy my first one actually wore out and I think if my VCR could talk it would say "Please not again" when I sit down to watch it. PS since this movie came out I bought the book it was based on and Otis signed it for me 8/10/2000.

Review: This movie should grab hold of all viewers, no matter what age. It's funny, sad, dramatic, and has great music. It just makes you want to go out and buy all there records. I myself bought a few. The music doesn't ever get annoying either, no matter how many times you play it. I incurage everybody to watch it with an open mind, and I am pretty sure you will enjoy it.

Review: i absolutely love this movie .. it's sad and sometimes a bit long-winded but the fact that it's a true story balances it all out. i own the DVD and it's such a great drama and musical at the same time .. i've become such a big fan of the temptations since then (since i wasnt alive during their heyday) .. and now own their anthology on CD. go out and buy it!

Review: i've watched this video over & over again....my 15yr olds granddaughter & 15yr old niece have both become temp fans frm watching this video...a must see...the uncut version is the best
