Summary: A truly touching film for all ages, the best I've ever seen!
Review: Gillian Armstrong has created an excellent rendition of this family classic. Little women is full of joy and sadness, and touched the hearts of me and my friends. There has never been a better version produced of Lousia May Alcott's masterpiece, and I am happy to say that this is a film to be watched over and over again. The characters are all played so realistically by the all-star cast line up and I feel that Winona Ryder's portrayal of Jo was fantastic. Claire Danes as Beth was fantastic, and Kirsten Dunst played a wonderful Amy.

Summary: 4 sisters that are trying to fulfill their dreams.
Review: Little women is a story about 4 girls that meet up with a boy named Teddy. They love to put on little theatricals in their attic. Jo loves to write manuscripts, at night, that is when she comes alive. Jo and Amy fall in love with Teddy. Meg falls in love with Jon Brook and they get married. Beth gets Scarlet Fever and dies in the middle of the movie. Jo cuts all her hair off so that Marmy can help father, he was hurt in the war. Teddy askes Jo to marry him and she refuses. Amy gets asked by Ant March to go to Europe with her. Jo gets mad because she wanted to go with Aunt March to Europe, because she always acted as her companion. Meg has two children, a boy and a girl. Jo goes to New York to persue her writing career. She meets a man called Fredric Bear. They fall in love. Jo goes back to Hope House. When she gets there Teddy knocks on the door and tells her that he got married to Amy. One of Jo's manuscripts gets published. Fredric comes back and Jo and Fredric plan to get married.

Summary: Just wonderful
Review: This has to be one of my favourite movies ever. I absolutely love it. It's the best version of the story so far I think. The 1944 one isn't too faithful to the book (Amy is older than Beth for a start) and the 1933 one has dated, despite a very contemporary performance from Katherine Hepburn.

The cast in this is ideal. Winona Ryder (though far too pretty for Jo) is perfect, as is the rest of the cast, especially Susan Sarandon and Kristin Dunst. Clare Danes's death scene must be one of the most touching ever.

Only I always watch it with the thought "Why on earth didn't Jo end up with Laurie." Especially when they had such chemistry like in this version

Summary: Ok..........
Review: The movie all in all was ok, but definitely does not go hand in hand with the book. I absolutely love the book and was let down by the movie. Some of my favorite parts were left out and I felt that the movie was compacted and rushed.

Summary: Wondeful rendering of a great story
Review: I enjoyed this movie very much. I've read the book and seen the Katherine Hepburn and June Allyson movie versions. This is one of the better, if not *the* best, movie version. This movie is beautifully filmed and well-acted. Winona Ryder gave a wonderful performance, as did Susan Sarandon and Kirsten Dunst. This movie includes information about the escapades of Meg and Amy that was left out of the other movies, which focused more on Jo. A charming film and a great adaptation of a great story.

Summary: COOL!!!!!!!!!
Review: This Movie is By far the best family movie to reach the silver screen so far. It is so touching, it's one of those movies where you want to laugh and cry at the same time. It Brings the classic Novel By Louisa May Alcott to life in a way Tha both children and adults can understand and enjoy.
