Summary: Great for cuddling
Review: I really liked this movie and being a guy I'm not too big on romance movies. I watched it with my girlfriend for the first time and I must say that I was very surprised. I loved Drew Berrimore in this film. Especially when she punches out her stepsister. It brimgs a more realistic view to the whole Cinderella fairytale that we are all used to. It is also great if you want to watch a nice movie with that special someone and cuddle for a while. I give it a very strong 5.

Summary: One of Barrymore's finest performances.
Review: Drew Barrymore continues to captivate audiences with the success of this movie following short on the heels of The Wedding Singer. Barrymore's character, Danielle, is believable and the story is well thought out. Danielle is given a twinge of feminism but it is not overdone.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This movie is great for all ages.
Review: The way they made this film, it makes it not look so fake. Girls of all ages would really like this movie. The story has a good image of the common Cinderella story. Yet it is more realistic and at the same time fantasy. It is a well done 5 star movie.

Summary: Good but not THAT Good
Review: Ever After was a good movie. It was good for a number of reasons: costume design, cinematography, production design, and (especially) the score. I don't understand the girls who think that this was the best movie of the year and give it 5 stars. If you want to see a fairy tale about feminism, see Mulan, the Disney animated feature released at about the same time as Ever After.

Summary: I laughed, I cried...
Review: This is one of my all time favorite movies. It includes wonderful acting by Drew Barrymore, Angelica Houston, and Dougray Scott. Travel back into the Fifteenth Century, while Queen Elizabeth tells the Brother's Grimm the real Cinderella story. Danille (Barrymore) is but eight and living alone with her father and the house servants. The father soon brings home his new wife, the Barreness Houston), with her two daughters. So now Danielle has a new step- mother and two new step-sisters. Her father soon has to leave again for a short time. On the way out he dies of a heart attack. It is now ten years later and poor Danielle has been turned into a servant by her wicked step-mother. She soon meets Prince Henry, (Scott)who her step-sister Margruite is going after, for his marrige. Danielle and Hanry soon fall in love. But can she tell him her outrageous secret before he commits to her. This movie is very well acted and directed. It should have won all the Acdemy Awards. This is a movie so gripping that you will not be able to bear to pause once.

Summary: A great movie that does justice to the fairy tale.
Review: Ever After was great. It managed to take away the chauvinism but keep the romance. It shows girls that they don't have to choose between love and independence. They can have their cake and eat it too.

Summary: <<<<VERY ENTERTAINING>>>>
Review: this is a real good movie to watch, it looks and sounds corny, but has a relly good plot, and is not to mushy, although i would have liked a bit more fist action, on the part of the prince soking danielles step-mom or something, would have been cool

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent recrafting of a traditional fairytale.
Review: This reworking of the Cinderella story charmed me from start to finish. Not just for children or teenagers, this visually stunning film incorporated historical tidbits that kept my mind engaged. Great "modern" romance between realistic characters that are not your "typical" Hollywood glamour types. Besides, where else can one see seven (count 'em, unless there were others) rarely mentioned French chateaux on film?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Romantic as ever....
Review: I watched "Ever After" on video, I watched it once alone, second time with my mom and third along with my mon and dad. It is definitely romantic and full of fantasy. Drew Barrymore and Dougray Scott portrayed the "Cinderella & Prince" characters wonderfully! I highly recommend this movie to all audiences. A movie you must see!!!!

Drew Barrymore was a true "Cinderella". An every girl's fantasy...to meet her prince. It is definitely a 5 ***** movie!
