Summary: A delightful fairy tale that keep me interested!
Review: This was a fabulous story of a dashing prince and young maiden destine for each other. I appreciated Drew Barrymore's "independent woman" role, although I doubt that was how women were in those days! It made it quite humerous and easier to relate to. The story itself was wonderfully written, and interested me enough to see it 3 times! I think this is the best movie I have seen Drew Barrymore in yet! I would recommend this to all! It's is a great fairy tale for grown ups!

Summary: A beautiful and emotional movie, it moved my heart.
Review: I think it was the most touching movie I've seen in my 27 years of life because my mother watched it with me and died a week after. This movie was my strong point in life as I struggled to come to terms with her death and my daughter's miscarriage.[It's very hard to find places where I can let out all my emotions like this. [ I hope you don't mind.]

Summary: Wonderful love story that will tear at your heart strings!
Review: I am a huge Drew fan and SHE, only she, could have played the PERFECT Cinderella. No one else could have stolen your heart the way she does. Her eyes draw you into her purity in this film. Dougray is a newcomer that we will see MUCH more of, I hope. They have such chemistry together and the acting/story line/costumes/romance ares PERFECTION! I cannot say enough about this movie except to say, if you are into Pure and Solid romances, this one is for you!!!!!!

Summary: Childhood fable brought to life with a twist!
Review: What a roar! A classic child adored fable snags the attention of an older audience! Wonderful cast of characters and great screen play. The simple little twist added to Ever After made Cinderella more interesting! Two very enthusiastic thumbs way up on the movie!

Summary: A Classic Adult Fairy Tale that is suitable for children.
Review: This was a refreshing realistic revision of the original fairy tale. Or was the fairy tale a revision of the original story? You decide. This was one of the best romantic movies next to "You've Got Mail" that I have seen in a while. It had all the tragedy and triumph of a true love story and none of the violence and foul language that so often masks the messages of our movies today. I thoroughly enjoyed this film and will watch it again and again.

Summary: A Cinderella Story...beautifully acted and directed
Review: Drew Barrymore delivers an outstanding performance as the ever so sweet and innocent, yet strong Cinderella. Anjelica Houston's portrayal as the evil stepmother is uncanny. In the scene of the masquerade, you just want to beat Houston down after the way she and her spoiled daughter rip the wings off of Danielle's costume created by Leonardo Da Vinci. Then, the truth is revealed that Danielle is just a peasant. Wise words of advice from Da Vinci allow the Prince to rethink his decision about dumping Danielle. True love shines through when the Prince says, "The one who fits this shoe is my match." He no longer calls her Nicole, the name that Barrymore gave to hide her identity, but he calls her Danielle...that meaning more to her than anything else. It is a true fairy tale when in the end Danielle and the Prince marry while her evil stepmother is stripped of her rank and becomes a chamber maid.

My favorite scene is when Danielle punches her brutal stepsister smack in the eye. Danielle does so because her stepsister was wearing her mother's wedding dress. When Danielle tells her that it belonged to her mother, the stepsister responds, "Yes but she's dead." After punching her in the face, she takes the glass slippers from her stepsister's feet and chases her around the house. Her stepsister is screaming mad and scared out of her mind. I am so glad that her snooty/bitchy stepsister got the humiliation she deserved in the last scene of the movie.

I recommend this movie to everyone. It is by far one of the best movies of all time. It can be classified as romantic, adventure, and drama. But I guarantee it is truly enjoyable.

Summary: Beautiful Cinderella Remake!!!
Review: This movie is absolutely charming and a definite must see. Drew Barrymore's portrayal of Danielle was simply magnificent. The music was a wonderful accompaniment for Ever After. While bringing you to tears, to making you laugh, it shows that you can indeed, live happily ever after.
