Summary: This is the best movie I have ever seen!
Review: 'Ever After' was so incredible! This movie was SO well done, and is now my very favorite movie. The casting couldn't have been better. Each and every one of them - Danielle, her step-mother and step-sisters, they were all just incredible! The costumes were beautiful. And, I loved how the story of Cinderella was made in such a way that was believable, and rational. I insisit that everybody I know sees this movie. If someone doesn't like it, I am assured that they have major issues. In one word, 'Ever After' was PERFECT.

Summary: My favorite movie of all time!
Review: EXCELLENT! Drew Barrymore's performance is nothing short of perfect! This movie has the perfect amount of drama, comedy, action, and romance. Drew is superb! Dougray Scott and Anjelica Huston also do an excellent job! I highly recommend this movie, especially for young girls!

Summary: Lovely film, great scenery - but no DVD extras?!
Review: I have to say I've enjoyed the film every time I've seen it. The story is sweet, the acting is fun and the humor is appropriate and doesn't detract from the characters. But the DVD doesn't have any extras about the making of this wonderful film, or even the different incarnations of the Cinderella legend, which is so common to so many cultures!

I wish that the producers had taken the time to create a DVD with lots of fun extras to match the extra work they obviously put into the film itself. The letterboxing, thank goodness, really lets you see every inch of the gorgeous settings and the action in every scene. Thanks for that, at least, and none of that awful "pan and scan" that chops up images... yuck.

Summary: I think this is a wonderful movie to watch on rainy days.
Review: I think this movie is great because of the magical ways it has. I loved the acting and story, and I think it's a wonderful way to rephrase the original plot, Cinderella.

Summary: pretty sweet
Review: I thought this film was pretty good but I wouldn't rave about it; so the sets were nice and it the sweet ending but that was about it. And Drew Barrymore's accent was appaling. We don't speak like that!! Also, the power thing was slightly annoying, I didn't want her to be pathetic but her 'boldness' wasn't realistic.

Summary: Fantastic Movie, Crummy/Lame Featureless DVD Disc
Review: When I first saw Ever After it was without any prior information or preconceptions. I was blown away by how much I love this film. It's sweet, charming, and light hearted. I named it our "Pick of The Moment" at EclipseMagazine.com, not once but twice. I've watched it 13 times in the last month, and watch it every time it's on HBO. However, the DVD version sucks, not the movie itself, it's flawlessly transferred and the sound is fantastic, but it only includes the letterboxed version, and the trailer - and I hate letterbox.

If there was ever a movie that deserves special edition stuff like - Script to Screen, alternate tracks with the Composer (I love the soundtrack - all "three" of them), Director, Pan and Scan, Writer and Actor/Actress commentaries, this was it. Let's start writing Fox for a collectors edition! I mean that's the whole point of DVD. We want the extras!
