Review: I saw At First Sight This past weekend and i have to say i absolutely loved it. I don't know what the critics were talking about when they said this movie wasn't good. It was very amazing. It is definitely one of my favorites.

Review: I recommend this movie to anyone who is close to or want tounderstand a person with disabilities better. I am not saying everyperson with a disability feels the same way a person who is blind would, but it does convey the "normal" person's reaction. I could not in a million years ever explain the underlying hurt of suggesting surgery to "correct" my deafness as if I am not already perfect the way I am. Thank you Val Kilmer for taking the time to study and know the nuances of blindness and showing the rest of the world exactly what it is like. I have always watched Val Kilmer movies, knowing I would be entertained, however after watching "at first sight" I would have to say I am totally in love with the guy!

Review: Those other critics, obviously have no knowledge about anything to do with blindness. If you got bored with this movie, it would be because you lack the intelligence as well as the emotions to fully understand it. As it is, this movie was a real-life drama. I'm certain it is researched. Val's mannerisms and reactions in this movie, was very credible. Do a bit of research yourself before you criticize.

Summary: Amazing, absolutely amazing!!!
Review: "At First Sight" is an absolutely amazing movie. I had hesitated to watch this film in the theaters cause of all the bad reviews it got from the critics and from word of mouth from other people i knew. Well, now I've learned a valuable lesson: Don't listen to what other people say. I knew I should have watched it in the theater but it's okay. I have seen it on video and nevertheless I saw it. I went into it expecting a big disappointment. But, rather than that, I fell in love with the movie. It touched me in every way. The fact that it really happened also made me feel extra emotions. This movie is a good one. I don't know what the critics were thinking. I don't know what my friends were thinking, but I guess when I look at it, us romance/drama movie buffs are a small number compared to the action/adventure movie buffs. This movie is absolutely amazing and whatever you do go see it. If you're a romance/drama movie person I'm sure you'll love it!!!

He makes a powerful performance on this unique character and leaves the audience in awe and feeling empathy towards Virgil. Mira Sorvina and Val Kilmer create magic on the screen as they let sparks fly through the good times and the bad. This is one movie that shows why love conquers all!!
