Review: Ever since I saw this movie on cable in 1982, it has been one of my favorite stories of pure and sweet young love. I watch it whenever it's on. I recommend this for any "romantic" who is young at heart. And I don't understand why Matt dillon NEVER mentions his work in this movie when he is interviewed. Well, maybe his movie preferences are different from mine, but he was great in this, as was Cindy Fisher.

Summary: A Touching Love Story
Review: I enjoyed this love story about 2 teens who are in love and who must hide their love because of the lies of the past...The chemistry between Matt Dillion and Cindy Fisher is full with alot of emotion that you becase to feel their happiness and pain..Matt's character Jack is caring and loving and Cindy's character Jen..the banker's daughter actually has enough for the both of them. Unfortunalty there are two ending to this movie and hopefully you will get the one with the happer ending

Review: I have loved this movie for years!! The mix of comedy and tragedy is perfect. The ending is not too sappy or sour. A love story that even guys enjoy!! I've tried to get the music from the story, but no luck there. Anybody have any clues?

Summary: good for a sunday afternoon
Review: I liked it because it wasn't a "high stress" movie that I had to keep with. It has a decent plot and watching it is sort of the equivelant of "curling up with a good book". It's a nice love story especially for those of us that appreciate the old "brat pack" of the 80's.

Review: I loved this movie for a few reasons. Other than the love story plot, it deals with lies and deception. It shows how damaging to a relationship, even indirectly, deception can be. Another reason I am extremely fond of the film is the fact that it was filmed in my home town and our rival town "down the road". The majority of the local filming was in Sealy, TX our rival town. The other town involved is Bellville, TX. The scene with the outside of the wedding chapel is about a block from the square of the county seat of Bellville. The Independence day dance scenes were filmed in Sealy at the old high school gym. Many of my friends were extras on the dance floor. Where the drinking scenes were in the locker room, I dressed as a high school basketball player waiting to face our big rival: the Sealy Lady Tigers. This is a wonderful movie with lots of local color. Come visit our quaint little towns in Austin County, Texas. We're about 50 miles West of Houston on I 10.
